Not too heavy and not too lightweight. Well made and exactly as described. Bit of an odor when first taken out of plastic bag, but we resolved that by airing outside for 24 hours.
The weight and quality were great for the price. There is no seam in these. They have very nice texture. I used them to make curtains for my patio door. We bought them in store and are very happy with them. Awesome product for slip covering, curtains and other craft uses.
I bought to use as curtains on my back porch. They worked great also have washed an they done up good, would buy again. Very good weight.
Works very well, beats flimsy plastic types. A decent price too but it only measures 5'7' X 8'8" so be aware of this to calculate the number you'll need to cover your area. I was hoping to cover my 11'9" X 15'8" bedroom floor with four of them but I had about a 10" gap down the middle instead of the 3" overlap I had planned for. I had to go back and get two more. It might be slightly bigger if stretched really, really tight but still not 6' X 9', plus I'd bet when washed and dried it will shrink more.
I use this dropcloth for cleanliness when entering attic spaces. The dropcloth catches the insulation so it doesn't go all over the house. I recommend washing it because the smell is funky when first taken out of the packaging. It is lightweight and professional looking.
I used these for curtains because I wanted a certain look and they are dirt cheap. I chose these specific drop cloths due to the softer weave. I bought 3 and 2 of them seemed to wash well, not much shrinkage. However 1 of them is at least 4 inches shorter than the other 2. The other 2 have around 1-2 inch variance. I have a couple panels next to each other and they are indoor so this does matter for me. I liked these because they have a nice seam and hem, no time for sewing. Now I will have to either sew or use fabric glue. Other than that I do love them. I also put grommets at the tops and the fabric holds up nicely.
First of all, this is not 6‘ x 9‘. The width only measured 5‘7“, I didn't measure the length because I figured it probably wasn't 9 feet either. I use drop cloths in my craft making for painting signs on and then framing. First of all, I must agree with another customer who wrote this thing definitely shrinks. I cut a piece that was 30 inches wide, keeping the 67 inch width. After washing, size shrunk to 28 inches wide by 63 inches in width. Also, the musty smell after taking it from the package does not dissipate even after washing. Secondly, the quality is not very good for this type of application. After washing, while trying to iron out the wrinkles, I found most of the wrinkles are actually imperfections in the material itself. Lastly, while I cannot recommend this for use in the projects that I do, or even for indoor window curtains (mostly due to shrinkage and the odor), I could recommend it for use as curtains outdoors around the patio or other similar application. The material is definitely softer then most drop cloths. I definitely WOULD NOT recommend this as a drop clloth if doing any kind of painting around the house. The paint is going to soak right through. The material is not dense enough for that application. For my application, rather than saving a few bucks, I actually ended up wasting $10 because I'm going to have to go out and buy the better quality dropcloth.
First off, these are NOT 6' x 9' , it is only 5' x 8' ! That makes a lot of difference depending on what you're using these for. The weave of the fabric is much looser that the drop cloth I previously purchased from Home Depot. I planned on using them to cover cushions, but I think you will be able to see through the fabric when it is even slightly stretched. I do like the color of these a little better than the Home Depot ones-these are slightly darker and look a bit more textured.
I'm sure if used as a drop cloth it does a great job. Unfortunately they smelled like mildew, checked them over no mildew present so I decided to cold wash them and iron damp to flatten fold creases. I bought 2 to lighten up my living room I have 108” ceilings I prefer floor to ceiling drapes, which these did gather a few inches too long, totally fine figured it might shrink a few inches anyway. I was WRONG!!! They shrunk 10 1/2”
These are several inches short of 9x12. The weave is loose and the fabric is soft so I wouldn't recommend using them as a drop cloth. The paint will seep right through. If you are wanting these for a craft or sewing project be aware there is a seam-it's not one piece.
