[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't think I was going to like this Chalk and Reel set by Hyper Tough because it looked a bit like cheap plastic while in the package. Fortunately, this was not the case. Upon opening, I discovered that the plastic they used is tough as nails. And with the plastic, it weighs considerably less than your standard metal chalk reel. The storage bottle is handy and the reel works perfectly. This one doesnt leak powder everywhere, either!

I recommend a little bag to keep all the parts in. Chalk can be used in many ways. String pulls out easy and helps give a straight edge.

I can confirm this is a 100 foot chalk reel. It is stamped on the chalk reel which you can only see if you zoom in on the photos. I did not see anywhere on the item listing how long the chalk line is, which is odd because it's a very important detail. So if you are wondering, it is 100 foot and a good deal.

Never thinking about how handy it can be to have a chalk line and level to make it straight. I find it especially handy when I'm laying bulbs to get planted and I want a straight line. My husband found it simple to use and self explanatory. Definitely recommend!
