This is a compact digital multimeter. It can measure almost every quantity - voltage, current (DC, AC) resistance, capacitance - of every circuit element. The readings span over a wide range and for better sensitivity they are divided into groups. Perfect for laboratory and personal use.

Needed this for several projects in the last 3 days. Works great for purposes intended.

Ease of instructions for use

This is a decent entry level meter that covers all of the basic needs at a fair price. The cons would be that you better not drop it or pull too hard on the leads. It's made as inexpensively as possible and won't hold up to abuse. So be careful with it. It also would be improved if it had a case to protect it, and hold the leads when being stored. But, for the prices those aren't cons... they're just good advice if you want it to last.

It's a good quality multimeter. Easy to use. Accurate readings. I used it to measure output voltage on a TV power board and got consistant results.

For individuals that frequently use this kind of device or are experienced with it; I think it's more than likely one of the better devices out there. I need to advise that I purchased this device because it advertised it was "easy to use", however, for someone who has never used one prior and isn't experienced with them and their functions; it is not easy to use or easy to understand. While I was attempting to use this for the intended purpose; I was unable to confidently determine I was using it correctly or even reviewing results correctly or accurately. So while it is small, compact, easy to carry, and in theory easy to use; sadly because it offers no type of verbiage or documentation for someone who doesn't regularly use it; it's become more of a time consuming and costly investment than I had anticipated. Unfortunately, I have no documentation or information that can support that the results I have obtained with it are accurate or are being interpreted correctly. In addition, the dial options and device information in the included paperwork only uses verbiage for someone skilled and experienced in using the devices so they appear more confusing, convoluted, and contradicting in many areas. After many hours of trying to research the information, the results, and the purpose for use I had; I had to accept it was a wasted investment and spend extra to work with someone specialized in my issue. This device is only "easy to use" for someone already experienced with these devices and their purpose.

Bought for my husband. These usually come with batteries but not this one. No batteries nor any provided. The phillips head screws were TEENY. :/

The display is too small and the continuity buzzer is too faint. I would not recommend this unit for anyone older than 30.
