I purchased this doorknob for my son’s room to prevent his brother from aggravating him. The door has a locking mechanism, which serves its purpose for our situation. However, the exterior side can be unlocked very easily using a flathead screwdriver, a coin, or even a fingernail due to the slotted release. This design can be either a benefit or a drawback depending on the intended use. For my purposes, it is acceptable, but anyone seeking true privacy should be aware that the lock can be bypassed with minimal effort. In terms of appearance, the knob looks fine and installs easily. The build quality seems adequate and should hold up for several years under normal use. Given the price, it offers reasonable value.

I LOVE how easy it was to install. I switched out my handle in less then 5 minutes literally. Best part about it. Both screws lined up perfectly the first time on each, absolutely no fishing for the screw hole. I've installed ones before that took me forever to line up the screws in those tiny holes to hold each handle together. I highly recommend. Not only that it has a beautiful nickel finish and looks professionally installed. And it hold tight.

it was great to get this item in a few hours because i lost my key to the house and feared that someone would use my lost key to gain entry. i lost the key in front of my house and figured someone may use it and rob me. so walmart saved my day. i could not leave myhouse to go buy another lock that is where walmart saved me from an ackward situation

I use these door knobs on my bedroom doors and on my bathroom door. It allows my guests to have privacy, yet if anything happens I have easy access to open the door in case of an emergency. I used to have the knobs that had an unlocking mechanism in a center hole, and my son needed assistance and couldn't get to the door to unlock it. Unlocking those door knobs take some time so I switched to these doors knobs because they unlock with a key. It is stainless steel so they are very durable. The metal is very smooth, and the corners are rounded so no sharp edges or boxy looks. Very easy on the eyes and it matches any décor. I am remodeling my whole main floor right now and I plan on having one of these knobs on every door.

The door knob kit comes with everything you need including two screws for the knob assembly, two screws for the latch, a strike plate and two screws for the strike plate. It also comes with instructions. Easy to installation . It is very stylish and appears to be quite durable. Assembly was super easy. Once I had everything unpacked it took me about 4-5 minutes per door including disassembling the previous door knob and strike plate. This is a great addition to our home style and blended well with various other door hardware around our house. I highly recommend it.

it was easy for me to install. had to put it on my grandson's door, he likes to think he can lock me out haha. it works as it should and looks just like the picture. I'm actually purchasing another one today for the closet because he seems to think it's okay to go through everything in my closet haha

This Hyper Tough brand keyed entry doorknob couldn't have come at a more perfect time. The front door knob of my house broke and would not lock anymore. I promptly installed this in it's place as soon as it arrived. This stainless steel knob is very easy to install. The doorknob feels very sturdy and well made. The knob turns smoothly. The keys also work great as well. They slide into the lock smoothly and turn easily to lock or unlock. The door knob is nice looking. It is made solid to last, there are no plastic parts. The door knob seems very secure. It has s lifetime warrantee. This is a great product. I am very pleased with it and feel confident recommending it.

It was very easy to assemble and it came with all of the parts, lol. If you're looking for a decent doorknob that can also keep out unwanted guests, then this is your doorknob.
