Hyper Tough Pneumatic 18-Gauge 2" Brad Nailer with 200 Nails

This pneumatic brad nailer looks and works well. Read instructions before use. Especially 1st timers like myself. comes with 200 1-1/2" brads. I used this nailer to repair an old wicker bar style chair. Removed the wicker, shaped slats to create a new seat, resecured back and side frame and support parts, slats, and foot rest. Not a show winner, but the chair is sturdy and stable. Its an outdoor chair, so look arent my priority. Use as directed. keep square and level. Nice safety feature is that you must hold the nailer against the surface that your nailing, and depress the safety tip against it befoe you can fire. Use eye/ear protection, and long sleeves. Keep your spare hand clear. I placed brads too close a couple of times and saw sparks. Something flew up and struck my arm.

I needed a Brad mail ASAP for a project. Couldn't find my Brad nailer, so I bought this due to its low price. But I found my other nailer, so I returned this one the next day, unopened.

Fantastic for the price. Super easy to load the nails. Mine was calibrated right out of the box so I made very little adjustments to the nail depth. Just make sure to adjust your PSI to 100 or under.

Todays' women are learning that is good to have your own tools to keep things in the home going well. We have traded in our sewing machines. This is one, easy to handle. I love it. I love the easy nailing of this gun.

I am reviewing the Hyper Tough Pneumatic Brad Nailer with Nails. I am an avid “around the house amateur handyman.” My wife thinks of the things she wants to be done and then I spend hours on YouTube watching videos to see, number one, if I can do the project and, number two, if I have access to the correct tools. Occasionally I have to invite a professional in to do the work. Or we change the scope of the project. I live in a small condo and I don't have many tools. I try to have homeowner friends with tools. I have borrowed this type of nail gun on several occasions for flooring projects. I also borrowed the necessary air compressor in order to use a pneumatic nail gun. Today was the first day to try out my new nail gun, actually a brad nailer. That means this shoots the small skinny nails in a length range of 5/8” to 2”. It is a lightweight gun shooting short skinny nails. You are not going to use this to re-roof your house. This device is for attaching trim and the obligatory quarter round. You get 200 nails in the box with the gun. They are stuck together like staples for a stapler. You can load 100 at a time. Today I was installing some trim on the baseboard over a new floor project of luxury vinyl planks. Yes, it was the aforementioned quarter round. I have included an action photo of the brad nailer with this review. You can see the air hose connected to the nail gun. It was connected to a pancake-style compressor that I borrowed from a friend. You can not operate this tool without an air compressor! The collection of the tools and materials took longer than the cutting and nailing of the quarter round. Such is usually the case for the man with no tools. Because this was a new tool to me, I read the instruction manual thoroughly. It gives the operation specs and the method of use. The manual is easy to read with pictures and vital numbers. I suggest a new user read this before operating. I was glad to understand that I could not randomly shoot nails around the room. A safety feature prevents this. At the end of the day, I can recommend this tool for the home user. This is not a professional tool like some of the others that I have borrowed over the years. So consider how often you need to shoot brads before you buy this. I think it is wonderful for the home. Now I am thinking to buy my own air compressor.

This Brad gun was a nice surprise as to how well it worked at an incredible price!!! For less than $29 you can't beat!

It's definitely worth it.Good buy works great, but Walmart seems to only have 2.5" brad nails. Luckily, it came with some starters' good job, HT! I am renovating my bathroom RN and ran out. 👍 went to Wal-Mart did not have the 1.5" brad nails like the one's included.. Why? And, ONLY 2.5" available in store? All my tools so far have been Hyper Tough, love them all including this tool. I put up alot of trim,2 pcs. left. out of nails.

I'd probably give this product 4.5 stars if it were possible. As suggested by the title, this is a decent tool for the price tag. It's not as substantial and sturdy as other, much more expensive brands/models, but it gets the job done. The depth adjustment seems to be a little finicky, but getting perfectly flush nails with any gun is unlikely. I bought it for trim/molding repair and it got me through with ease. Recommended for light-duty trim work, light furniture/cabinetry, frame building or similar jobs where heavier gauge nails are not required.

I brought this Brad nailer, this nailer trigger is not working I will working on to fix or thinking to return back to store

This might have been a good tool but I am not keeping it. It arrived w/bent up packaging and had clearly been fiddled with (possibly used) in the past. The 200 nails were missing.
