We have limited outlets and you simply screw this adapter into an existing ceiling outlet. Put a bulb into the adapter and have light. And I can also plug a standard outlet into the adapter at the same time as well. This is a great product and I would recommend to others.

It says it is rated for 1875 watts online, but the product I picked up (Same one and same part number) says 660 watts. For most uses, that should be enough, but it borderline for my use.
