I purchased these to replace the old bolts on my toilet seat that kept coming loose. These were perfect they were easy to put on and very easy to tighten. I change my toilet seats frequently so I went ahead and ordered a few more packs of these bolts just to have on hand thats how much I liked them. will definitely be buying these again in the future

The bolt (screw on the lid broke into). Found this set and put it on and works perfect. The 2-piece set does come with 2 different nuts to tighten the bolts. Have a spare now cause only use 1 bolt and nut. I did save the nut from the broken bolt. They are plastic. Price is excellent. For top mount toilet seat hinges.

Toilet tank started leaking around the bottom. It appeared to be coming from the bolts holding the tank to the stool and possibly the 3”rubber seal between the tank and stool. I removed the old bolts and seal and replaced them with those I purchased at Walmart. This 15 minute project cost under $6, and saved me from replacing the toilet at a cost of more than $500 including removal and replacement with a new unit.

These are total crap - DON'T BUY THEM. The toilet gasket would not sit without leaking (like spewing water), so I had to buy another to replace it. I thought the bolts were okay at first, but then they started leaking as well. The bolts do NOT stay up, even when tightened as tightly as you can get them. The bolts are also already rusting after not even a month. TOTAL CRAP!!!!! I guess you get what you pay for. Don't waste your money like I did.

the bowl gasket only goes over the threads and not over the entire assembly so it doesnt fit flush against the tank. Had to go to hardware store to get a different bowl gasket.

I do not recommend these toilet screws. The heads on them are very small and they go right through the holes in the toilet seat. When there is any pressure added to the seat. I have two different brands of seats and both have the same issue. There is no washer attached or even included in the package.

The plastic they are made from is too soft when you tighten them the plastic slot bends so after awhile you can't tighten them and have to get new ones.

This item is cool as a replacement but... look at the current screw you have. The head on this one is small and falls right through the hole. You will definitely need to buy a washer to keep it in place so it will work.

they dont like the stay tight.,...? Lol, seems like Im "adjusting" the toilet seat every week or 2.....and apparantly they dont sell METAL anymore, I mean, kinda makes sense cause metal tends to corode/rust LOL....but I mean, how often do we change toilet seats? LOL.
