this stuff is a lifesaver and the massage applicator is nice. the price should not be so steep for the amount, or cost extra because they put a different shape of plastic. i recommend it but will probably buy the less expensive offbrand next time because I don't think it's right to do that.

not sure why walmart is asking me to give a star rating for taste on icy hot.... thats odd. but this is one of their better ones for lower back pain relief i have found.
This product works okay and you can definitely feel the hot and cold sensations working on target areas. However, the relief doesn't last very long, so you have to reapply it more often than expected. It's fine for short-term comfort, but I wished the effects were longer lasting.
Once I figured out how to open it and use it - it worked as directed. Works like other icy hot products I have used.
The first one I ordered somehow got a hole in the seam of it after first use, but it was refunded no problem and I replaced it. The massage cap doesn't massage, that's why I gave it 4 stars. It's more of just a textured application
Applicator too much just to apply a cream. Icy hot Advance has stronger ingredients than most on the market for pain, is effective but not impressively so. I think all of this over the counter "pain relief" for joints, arthritis is extremely over priced for the kind or quality of relief you get. My personal belief is that when you are hurting as much as this kind of pain causes you are willing to pay whatever to just "TRY" something you hope works!! Menthol is usually the main ingredient for most, NOT a expensive ingredient.
