I purchased this ie Geek security camera because I wanted a device that would be able to give me view of anything that was going on in my back yard and alert any person or animal that entered my space that they should not be there. I have been super pleased with the camera ever since I received it. I was able to easily set it up to its app within just a few minutes and then installed it on my soffit of my roof line to get a clear view of the back yard. Once in the app I was able to set the view quality to QHD and it was very clear! I like that I am able to speak through the camera remotely and add a microSD card so that I can record any events that occur. The camera also has a built-in light and siren option so that at night I can set it to go off if anything gets in its field of view. The night mode is fantastic with its low light options. I can set it to be color at night with the spotlight or black and white with the infrared option. I am also able to manually turn the light on the camera incase I need additional lighting in my back yard. Overall I am very impress with this purchase and would recommend it to my friends and family.

After retiring from the CCTV industry several years ago I have decided to update my older analog system here at home. When we built our home a few years back I installed an ieGeek doorbell and was impressed with how easy its Cloudedge app was to use so when I started researching cameras I naturally looked at ieGeek cameras that used that app. As it turns out it was a good choice. The camera was easy to install and use, as was the app, and the video quality has met my expectations both during the day and at night thanks to its 2K FHD and its WiFi signal quality is good and never seems to miss a beat. The white light at night brings out color in the video and the image does not blur like most IR or color video from other cameras. The motion detection using AI and the PIR (passive infrared) works to limit false alarms found in many consumer cameras on the market today. When you combine the 15000mah battery with the solar panel you will probably never need to charge the battery again. The camera body seems to be very sturdy and has an IP65 weather rating there is a good cloud storage available but I usually include an micro SD card. Overall, I found it to be a very reliable outdoor camera and give it high marks.

At home I installed wired surveillance cameras years ago. It took me quite some time and money to install them. And when I need them or not, I have to turn them on or off. Quite bothersome... It was yesterday. Today, with this solar powered little guy, everything seems so easy: installation, operation! You can monitor the surroundings of your house any time, any where with your smart phone! I bought one ieGeek -- solar powered security cameras, and weeks later I bought three more! Good price! Good product! Strongly recommended!

after reading so many bad reviews I was about to return this camera but than I gave it a shot and installed it using a different solar panel I had that was bigger than the one it actually came with. to my surprise it worked without worrying about the battery dying. everyday when the sun comes rising off it definitely charges the camera completely 💯 Guys! I paid $6 dollars for a bigger solar panel at Amazon and trust me, it's worth it. the small one doesn't hold enough juice so get yourself a bigger one a 12x12 and your battery will definitely be charged completely without taking nothing apart every month or so.

This is my 5th camera from ieGeek. Love them all and they work great. The cameras are easy to add on the app, and there is a ton of customization in the settings. You can set the alarm sensitivity, select a detection zone, sound a siren, this camera even has a light. You can also use the camera as a speaker and talk with someone nearby. I get fast notifications on my phone when motion is detected. The solar panel is also great and removes the need for uninstalling the camera for charging. The picture quality is good, and you can't beat the price!

I have received this ie Geek camera and it has been wonderful. I opened the box and was able to set the camera up within moments. I opened the app and pressed the power button on the camera. I then was able to add the camera in just a few steps and it was setup and connected to my wifi. From inside the app I have ability to turn on the light on the camera and adjust its resolution settings. I have this camera placed in my garage and so its great that I have it setup to turn on its light every time there is motion. That’s great that I do not need to turn on the garage light anymore when I go in to take out trash. The picture quality goes all the way up to QHD and is super crisp and bright. And in night vision mode I can see my whole garage very clearly. This camera is highly recommended.

i had a blink camera, i bought it for the brand name... well it sucked, this one is easier, no mandatory purchases.... sd card is great. easy to navigate through. solar panel is a nice little feature. very satisfied.

Camera does seem to work very will on solar . Gives great night vision good and the pan around is also good . I hooks up good to Wi-Fi I recommend it too any one .

I like the compact size of this camera. It is fairly inconspicuous. The battery life is good enough to last for at least a couple weeks. Possibly a month or more depending on activity in motion detection notifications. The solar panel keeps it charged up even during winter months. Personally, I put a piece of plexiglass over the solar panel to protect it and extend its lifespan. Works great.

Pros: - small camera size makes it easy to position in multiple areas (need to use the provide camera mounts as the camera cannot stand on its own). - option to include own microSD card so if you don't need to use/pay for a cloud service. - Day and night recording is very clear for still images (see attached photos) - Battery longevity is good but with included solar panel, no need to charge at all - Motion sensitivity is very good in picking up motion (see also cons) - Notifications are fast when motion is detected on your phone. Cons - Video of people moving or walking is not crystal clear (typical of security cameras). - Requires 2.4 Ghz WIFI connection which works very well, just need to be aware you cannot use on a mesh system. - I have not tried the cloud based motion features but the system picks up all motion when on high setting. Therefore, I turn off the notifications as I get all kinds of false alerts even when the people motion is set. If turn down the alert setting, then I miss people walking by.
