after reading so many bad reviews I was about to return this camera but than I gave it a shot and installed it using a different solar panel I had that was bigger than the one it actually came with. to my surprise it worked without worrying about the battery dying. everyday when the sun comes rising off it definitely charges the camera completely 💯 Guys! I paid $6 dollars for a bigger solar panel at Amazon and trust me, it's worth it. the small one doesn't hold enough juice so get yourself a bigger one a 12x12 and your battery will definitely be charged completely without taking nothing apart every month or so.

At home I installed wired surveillance cameras years ago. It took me quite some time and money to install them. And when I need them or not, I have to turn them on or off. Quite bothersome... It was yesterday. Today, with this solar powered little guy, everything seems so easy: installation, operation! You can monitor the surroundings of your house any time, any where with your smart phone! I bought one ieGeek -- solar powered security cameras, and weeks later I bought three more! Good price! Good product! Strongly recommended!

i had a blink camera, i bought it for the brand name... well it sucked, this one is easier, no mandatory purchases.... sd card is great. easy to navigate through. solar panel is a nice little feature. very satisfied.

On first I didn't like this because it wouldn't hold a charge. Realized I didn't let it charge up enough. Now I absolutely LOVE this camera getting more for all around my house. Motion light is awesome and I love the alarm to scare people off.

I put this on my patio . It is under cover as well as the solar panel. It only gets indirect sunlight and it works wonderfully! I can see a wide area. It has an alarm, siren, and 2-way intercom as well as a light.

Camera does seem to work very will on solar . Gives great night vision good and the pan around is also good . I hooks up good to Wi-Fi I recommend it too any one .

I like the compact size of this camera. It is fairly inconspicuous. The battery life is good enough to last for at least a couple weeks. Possibly a month or more depending on activity in motion detection notifications. The solar panel keeps it charged up even during winter months. Personally, I put a piece of plexiglass over the solar panel to protect it and extend its lifespan. Works great.

Pros: - small camera size makes it easy to position in multiple areas (need to use the provide camera mounts as the camera cannot stand on its own). - option to include own microSD card so if you don't need to use/pay for a cloud service. - Day and night recording is very clear for still images (see attached photos) - Battery longevity is good but with included solar panel, no need to charge at all - Motion sensitivity is very good in picking up motion (see also cons) - Notifications are fast when motion is detected on your phone. Cons - Video of people moving or walking is not crystal clear (typical of security cameras). - Requires 2.4 Ghz WIFI connection which works very well, just need to be aware you cannot use on a mesh system. - I have not tried the cloud based motion features but the system picks up all motion when on high setting. Therefore, I turn off the notifications as I get all kinds of false alerts even when the people motion is set. If turn down the alert setting, then I miss people walking by.

ieGeek Outdoor Solar Cameras are a great value! They were a breeze to configure and install! I love the range for wifi. I have them watching my cabin entrance and driveway about 70feet from cabin wifi. The App is intuitive and very useful with many features to allow full functionality! I purchased 2 cameras and am completely happy with their capabilities. I will be purchasing more!

The camera works great. The issue is the part that holds the camera to the wall broke and the camera fell off. I can not reattach it. I would not recommend it.
