It is impossible to purchase #6 coffee filters these days anywhere except online. I searched the internet and found the best price here at Swanson's. They do exactly what they are intended to do!

OK coffee filters. THank you.

I bought these for the better price over other brands, but fully regret the decision. I figured they would all be about the same, but sadly, the seams on these filters have had great difficulty staying together about 50% of the time, and I find grounds in my coffee more often than not (not to mention the wonderful mess it leaves in the basket). I was a fan that they would compost easily, but I'm not so keen about them doing so before completing their intended job. The plus is that the remainder of the box will quickly break apart in my garden next spring.

I haven't used that many of the filters yet but at least 3 out of four allowed coffee grounds to go into the pot.
