I ordered it online; had I seen it in person I probably wouldn't have purchased it. The handle is finicky and sticks. It's not the sturdiest handle and because of this I am reluctant to use it afraid it will snap off the cooler. What I liked were the sturdy wheels that maneuvered well over grass and rocks on the way to the beach. Kept my drinks plenty cold.
This cooler has been amazing. It fits under the tunnel cover of my Honda Ridgeline. The ice stayed so well out at the field all day and I was able to pick up and maneuver by myself in and out of the pickup. Easily able to navigate through the parking lot and on the grass fields. Highly recommend this cooler.
I purchased this before a road trip. with my two children and our dog. It fit perfectly in the back, and gave the pup plenty of room to lay down on her bed as well. It held everything that we needed, and there was even space left over! Everything inside stayed plenty cold, and we were traveling for three days. I did not put any ice in it, only frozen items packed around cold food. Some of the frozen food still needed to be thawed the rest of the way when we got there!
This is my first time buying a cooler this expensive. But every dollar was worth it. This baby kept my stuff frozen and took one ice bag the bigger size bag. It kept all my food I was bringing back home from Chicago IL to Oklahoma City, OK. The whole trip with many stops and some sleeping around 1am to 5:40am. We were on the road for more than 12 hours. The wheels run smooth. They help move it easily. The lock feature is pretty neat. Especially, when it leaves you with the option to put a padlock. Built in bottle cap opener. Great size for the stuff we had. I had meats like a pork shoulder in there. The size fit perfectly in the trunk. We had a smaller size cooler too, not an igloo. And that one had the ice melted so we had to take the water out and replace with new ice. The igloo was hands down the best one. I highly recommend for long trips. I'm very happy with my purchase. If it didn't perform the way it did I would've returned it. I was so happy when I got home to see that my food made it. Nothing had to be replaced……
Purchased this for Father's Day. It does not keep ice well at all. Literally melts within a day. The water from the melted ice splashes out the top lid even with it latched and gets everything wet. Now, 1 month after purchasing, the latch broke off. Worst purchase I've had in a long time. Very disappointed.
when opening the lid thev handle to pull the chest must be completely down. An igloo I owned in the past wasn't like this %26 was much easier to handle. the locks are irritating to pull open, especially if you want to reach inside quickly %26 at an angle.
This Igloo cooler was perfect for camping! It kept our food and drinks cold and held ice for several days. It is durable, easy to use, and a great size for outdoor trips. I would definitely recommend it!
it's a great cooler BUT.... the handle is flimsy and on mine the drain plus pulled out from the inside because the cap was cross threaded from the factory
Had it about 3.5 weeks and the wheels are falling off and it doesn't hold ice very long at all. Took it camping the 4th of July and had to replenish ice daily. Waste of $100.
Good ice chest, the empty spot is a little complicated if you're in a hurry. Love that the handles go up n down, it's so much easier to walk around with 😁
