Igloo 72 QT Overland Ice Chest Cooler with Wheels, Gray

The 72-quart size gives me plenty of room for drinks, food, and ice, making it perfect for camping, road trips, tailgates, or long weekends. The wheels make it easy to move even when it's fully loaded, and the sturdy side handles are great for lifting when needed. The latches feel secure, the construction is solid, and it keeps everything cold for an impressive amount of time. I also really like the gray and blue color combination—it looks rugged and modern. If you're looking for a durable, high-capacity cooler that's easy to transport, I definitely recommend this one.

First and foremost, it's about time Igloo stepped up to the plate with a quality cooler that competes to the more expensive competitors. This brand name has been an American standard for decades, so updating was long overdone. The style and colors are beautiful. The blue interior stays cleaner and won't turn beige like white does. The ONLY issue I had was that the pull/drag handle is too short. When you lift the cooler to roll, it constantly hits the back of your ankles. That hurts when the cooler is full. Apart from that, ice finally remains cold for at least 4 DAYS! Well done Igloo.

Absolutely my favorite ice chest of all time I ended up buying 2 of them. Keeps ice cool, keeps animals out. Perfect with handle wheels and size . Great for camping bor day trip.

I bought it for camping, and the latches broke after two days—very flimsy material.

We have last years model. Gray/Black. great with full rubber latches. This Gray/Blue is exactly the same except IGLOO decided to go cheap and now the latches are a combo of plastic and rubber and both snapped right at the plastic point. The point of having the rubber is so you can pull down to attach or unattach to open/close the lid. The plastic doesn't allow the stretch needed to do this and if you pull even slightly right or left while pulling down, the plastic gives and breaks easily. You have to pull extremely hard to unlatch them, where with the full rubber, you have to pull moderately to unlatch and with the full rubber, you don't need to pull exactly straight down. That's why Rtic and Yeti use full rubber pulls for their coolers too. IGLOO didn't compromise previously, but now they have and they're going to lose a lot of $$ with all the returns. Useless now. returned and ordered another of last years model. Also replaced the cheap pins they use to attach the handle (those broke as well) with actual screws! Aside from that, this is the best cooler we've ever owned!!! When I called UGLOO c.s. they said just to return it to Walmart because they can't send out good latches to fix the issue. I will say, the one time we were able to use it along side our other, Ice lasted for 10 days with a combo of 1 liter frozen water bottles on the bottom with our drinks and cold food and then a little ice on top\surrounding!

The handles are very flimsy and can't handle the weight of a half full cooler, much less a full one. After only 4 uses the pins that hold the handles together are shearing off, making the handle useless. There is also mismatch handles, just a little finger grip on the left and a swinging handle on the right which makes this difficult to lift.

This cooler was purchased from the Bloomingdale, IL location, and haven't even had a chance to use this cooler, due to the fact that the drain plug cap was missing. I called the store, and spoke with 4 people, and put on hold each time for over 10 minutes with no answer. I called back and spoke with a manager, and they stated couldn't do anything for me as well. I just want the drain plug. I called corporate, and they also said they the same stupid stuff about try couldn't do anything for me either. I simply need to go to the store and return and repurchase. Well, I did inform that we are packing up the house because we are moving out of state tomorrow. They stated they could send me a return label. Now how is that going to fix this stupid problem? It used to be that managers and corporate would help customers, but not at Walmart. Never shopping at Walmart ever again!!!

zero stars, this thing is trash. Handle rivots broke and rubber latch broke off first time using it. The plastic that your knuckle hit when unlatching is sharp enough to cut you. RETURNED and bought a RTIC.

I precooled this igloo cooler before my camping trip. I then put my drinks and food in it, with 47lbs of ice. My camp site was an hour away. By the time I got there I reached in to get a drink and I couldn't believe it, 95% of the ice was melted. So all I had was a cooler full of melted ice water. Very disappointed in this cooler, will definitely be sending it back. 😡
