Perfect for homemade Kefir if you want to avoid the metal strainers/sieves. My "stainless steel" strainers had chromium and whatnot in them which got scratched off quickly. These plastic strainers are perfect for separating whey from curd and Kefir grains, and they are very affordable.

They both hold a lot of food, very deep opening and i like the long handles for hanging on a pot or bowl, I like to use these for rinsing my rice, and sifting things....lotsa flipping room... they're pretty sturdy for the price, however its not HIGH quality but I think I should get some good use out of them for at least a year or two... I can always come back and update review then.... I like them alot.

These were a great deal. I love them. They are great for straining rice and washing rice and also washing the fresh beans. I got one set for me and one set for my son's home. His wife loves it as well.

These strainers are great for sifting flour, draining fruits and vegetables, straining canned beans, vegetables and straining liquids. Also works for pasta, but as it is not a metal strainer, I wait till pasta has cooled some.

I needed a smaller strainer to rinse small batches of food. This is a perfect size. It is a good thing it came with two of them since my daughter took one home.

I like that there's no wire in these. They both have hooks on ends and the clean very easily. Plus they're great size. I really like them for cleaning rice, because they hold a good amount.

Absolutely love these. So easy to use and clean. Replaced my sit in dunk calendar.

Just what I was looking for - and at such a good price!

Great product and very sturdy

It's not what I expected. They are really much bigger than I wanted. The strainer part is flimsy. The handles and the plastic around the strainer is hard. I'm not sure how well it would work with hot foods like pasta.
