The pot is nice but I think it was a bit over priced. I am also not happy that the app did not inform me there is a minimum and I was charged $7 extra just because the pot did not meet the minimum cost for online pickup. I didn't even know there was an extra charge if you didn't meet a minimum and a notice would have been nice, I could have put other items on the order.
First let me start off by saying that I received this for free from BzzAgent for my honest review after using so here it is.... This is just what I needed in my kitchen. I have other pots but none that are as large as this one and definitely none that are as light weight as this. You might think that the fact that it's not made of a heavy or thicker material is a bad thing but thats just not true. I have an older stove with older burners that take forever to heat up especially when using pots made from super thick metal or steel but this pot cut my cooking time almost in half. I wouldn't recommend turning the heat up to the highest setting, my burner was set on the middle setting and it was perfect. We had a huge pot of homemade baked potato soup with bacon bits, cheese, and sour cream that was delicious! I can't wait to use it again, next time I'm going to make a big pot of pasta and homemade sauce.
This stock pot definitely gets the job done. It's thin and light weight. It heats up really fast and water comes to a boil quickly. I like the cool touch handles and they really do stay cool to the touch. Overall a solid option at a reasonable price point.
I compared it with a T-fal and honestly I liked this one more for everyday use. The IMUSA is lighter, heats up quickly, and is very practical for cooking beans, soups, and homemade meals. The T-fal feels more modern and has a nicer finish, but it also costs more. If you're looking for something reliable simple, and great for daily use, this one is the better buy for the price.
I used this to make my one pot cheesy bacon chicken pasta. I was a little worried things would stick in this pot, but they only did a very small bit. I like that it wasn't super heavy so it was easy to maneuver. I like the handles too. Overall I would definitely say I would buy this!
I come from a really large family, so growing up we always used huge stock pots for every meal. Now I live with my wife and kids, and those big pots no longer fit our needs. This 8qt Aluminum Stock Pot is the perfect smaller size. It still lets us enjoy the same festive, family‑style meals, but in a way that makes sense for our home. I've also seen this pot at my local grocery store, so it's easy for anyone to find. I've been surprised by how often I use this pot. It heats fast, cooks evenly, and the lightweight design makes it easy to handle even when it's full. Cleanup is simple, and the size is great for medium or small meals without taking up too much cabinet space. The only drawback is the thin metal on the lid. It already has a small dent, but the pot itself still feels sturdy and well‑made.
I received a free 8qt pot from Imusa in exchange for my honest review, and I was genuinely excited since this brand reminds me of the pots my abuelita used in her kitchen back in Mexico. The size is great, and it's made with very lightweight material, which helps ingredients heat up quickly and cook efficiently. Unfortunately, there were a few issues. The lid arrived bent from shipping, so it doesn't close properly. The cool-touch handle on the lid is also very small, and I ended up burning myself a couple of times trying to check on my food. There's no good way to rest the lid on the counter when it's hot without placing the inside (messy side) down, or burning yourself. I also noticed staining inside the pot after the first use, even though I followed the washing instructions carefully. The beans I made turned out delicious, everyone liked them! I really enjoyed how evenly everything cooked.
This stock pot is decent. I was impressed when browning meat it did not stick. The handles did stay cool to touch as advertised. It was light and easy to carry, always a plus for me. Unfortunately the lid came damaged so using the lid wasn't an option to use.
I used this pot to make spaghetti in. I have mixed opinions about it. Its very light weight which wasnt the best for me. It felt cheap. As far as cooking goes, the cooking was solid. I have an electric stove and it cooked my food evenly. I did get some burn marks but I believe I left on the eye for to long. I would like it more if it were more heavy duty.
Couldn't wait until this pot came. I was looking forward to making a big pot of chicken soup when it arrived we opened up the box and found that that couldn't wait until this pot came. I was looking forward to making a big pot of chicken soup when it arrived we opened up the box and found that the lid was badly warped very disappointed
