IMUSA Jumbo Plastic Empanada Maker, Black

I have used walmart pick up many times. I always tip the employee who brings my order out to the car. This time the nice young man looked at me and smiled, thanked me as he declined and said it is company policy not to accept tips. I smiled back at him and told him to have a wonderful day. I was blown away at his honesty, obviously something all the others lack.

So I had a couple problems with the fork marks on the outside shutting my empanada dough. I bought this and at first I thought oh it's a little on the wonky side and not perfectly circled well there's a reason when you put the meat in the middle it's got to be a little fatter on one side so when you shut it, it doesn't all shrink back up. Brilliant idea, ideal and this thing was worth it's weight and gold when you're ripping through making these empanadas, don't want to finish up in a hurry.

Since I purchased this I have not stopped using it. I've made miniature calzones with ricotta %26 mozzarella, sausage %26 pepper calzones, meatball parmesan, Greek calzones with spinach %26 feta cheese, chicken pot pies. If in mood I make the dough or I Pillsbury biscuits and I roll the dough out to fit. This is an excellent product worth every penny!

way better price than that trendy yellow one out there right now (not naming the brand). works great. use with medium sized tortilla shells, sealed with an egg wash for extra holding power. trimmed off the edges and when done making 5-6 of them, spread the remaining egg wash on the discard shell scraps and crisped those up in the air fryer. those were sooooo good!

An item that eliminated 30 years of tortilla frying and lousy tacos and empanadas, FINALLY this gadget brought to our family great empanadas, with diverse fillings superior aestetics and happy gathering by using Goya disks and frying great looking empanadas. Now we added a weekly menu to our lives.

I made the mistake to not look at the size of this product, so heads up if your looking for a big size one know that this one is smaller like bite size empanadilla. But everything else is fantastic.

It kind of works for what it is. It is a bit of an oval so you can't use regular cutters. I had one before that you could use one side to cut the dough then the other to crimp, this one is made so that it doesn't really work to do this.

Smaller than I thought. The picture appeared larger on the website. When I received it it was really smaller.

I do not recommend this product because the shape of the empanada maker is not round (it's more like an elongated shape), so the Goya empanada disks do not fit in this mold. I ended up closing the disks myself using my fingers, and it worked pretty good.
