I rated the Indoor/Outdoor *********-Count LED Mini Christmas String Lights (Red, 19.5', Holiday Time) a 5 out of 5 because they are absolutely fantastic! The red color is incredibly bright and festive—it instantly transforms any space into holiday magic. The LEDs stay cool, use hardly any energy, and shine beautifully all night long. They're sturdy enough for outdoors, perfect for indoors, and the length is just right for decorating trees, railings, windows—anything! The lights are consistent, vibrant, and completely hassle-free. For the price, the quality is unbeatable. These lights delivered everything I hoped for and more, which made giving them a 5-star rating an easy choice!
These lights are the gold standard for indoor outdoor lights .I've been buying them for years and yes they do last if taken care of which includes handling them gently and storing them properly. Occasionally a light will go out and then the entire strand is out , I've yet to know how to fix this common issue with all brands . I have a 24 inch tree and I use 200 of these lights as I like a lot of lights . I have. 12 inch tree that uses 100 lights . For a full sized tree I would say you would need 1000 plus . A tip is to buy after the season for the best price . As an example- after Christmas 100 count of these lights was $1.49 on Walmart.com
Ordered 12/21/2025 received 12/22/2025. Nice and bright small Christmas LED lights, capable of connecting multiple strings for longer runs. These lights replace the old incandescent lights I've had for years. I was fortunate to find five boxes for less than $6 a box, otherwise I might have purchased more.
When these LED light sets work, they are great at the sub-$6 price point, with attractive bright lighting via closely-spaced (2.5 inch spacing) bulbs and ease of use. This particular model employs fixed LED "bulbs", where they cannot be removed and replaced like conventionally found in most light strings of the past. Unfortunately, this un-removable bulb design does NOT translate to higher durability... I bought and installed outdoors a qty of 23 x 100 LED of this specific light set for about an 8 week period during this current 2025-26 winter season in the Detroit area, and by the time I removed them, I had 15 sets still working great, but 8 sets had varying outage issues, most with half of the LED string either partially dim or very dim. Flicking the bulbs by finger tip snapping, flexing the wire, or drying out the set indoors, was NOT successful in reviving any of the outages back to fill brightness. In spite of these being more or less Walmart branded (per the fine print on the box back), and in spite of these having a 3-year warranty (per a QR code slip inside each box), my local Walmart store would not return any of these after the 90 return policy window. Fortunately, the manufacturer, EverBrite, does have a process, and did honor the warranty, sending me 8 replacement sets after I sent them scans of my Walmart.com purchase receipts. They made it as easy as can be expected (Thank You for that EverBrite). I wonder what failure rate I will experience during the next 2026-27 season with a mix of 15 older and 8 new sets. That said, I don't have confidence that other light sets out there at any price level will have much better durability, so I will stick with these for now, and just keep several extra sets on-hand for emergency replacements.
The lights are not as warm in color as the marketing description states and therefore, will not work for me. Unfortunately, plugged in, the glow still resembles cheaper LED white lights on the market. I am returning the lights because of this and purchasing a more expensive brand elsewhere. I thought I found a good deal on warm white LED lights. The price is right for what they are though, and I am sure there are others that will not mind the LED white glow. The strands themselves are of good quality and packaged well.
They are efficient LEDs but they use cheap low CRI LED with a very high DUV value (the light appears greenish tinted rather than pure white or warm white) and it uses PWM to so it looks like a very fast flicker that is trippy.
Visible noticable flicker, 60hz flicker, that's the entire vibe about these lights. I wouldn't use these on my indoor tree or anything you want to look at for more than a couple of seconds. These would be best used outdoors as accents, like wrapped around posts or on railings. Color is acceptable warm white, not terrible for LED. I bought 5 sets and all 5 worked out of the box, so we'll see how they hold up in storage for next year.
Great product for indoors. The cool white color is nice. Price is reasonable. . Outdoor use has limited capacity. As with most lights like this, Bought five boxes . NO spare lights. Got a fuse in each box, but that is very rarely the problem when the lights go out. I have become quite proficient at repairing this type of lights over the years. I guess they expect you to buy an extra set of these lights to supply your own spares now.
The lights have no blinker and no place to put one. The bulb can not be removed or replaced. None of this info is on the box. 6 bucks for dull non blinking lights. Bought them in late oct for Christmas but here they are, worthless for my needs. Walmart goes downhill more every day. leaving out important information on packaging assures I buy lights somewhere else from now on.
Some of these lights were purchased 1 month before they stopped working and some were only used indoors for 2 Christmas seasons! I have 8 strings of them to trash because either the whole string went out or part of the string stopped working. Changing bulbs did not fix them. They were pretty but definitely not worth the trouble! They were a waste of money!
