Intex 18' x 48" Easy Set Above Ground Swimming Pool with Filter Pump

This pool is a great value. They last several years and the few leaks from damage or age are easily repaired. This is our 3rd one. The design is also very wind resistant. We have seen a lot of the straight sided pools blowed over. This design just gives with the wind and then goes right back. The pump and vacuum system are also very good. I just suggest making a little frame work to hold the vacuum screen off the inside of the housing. It is also important to make sure you have level the ground where you are putting it with sand and putting some cheap disposable tarp under the pool will keep you from having to clean it before storage.

I am impressed with this pool. I was concerned about my area I placed it as its a little bumpy and uneven. I filled in the low spots with some sand and eyeballed it. I followed the instructions carefully and it went up great! Super important to pull the wrinkles out of the bottom after you get just an inch or so of water across the entire bottom as any wrinkles will be a problem later when try to clean it. The ladder that came with it seems a little lacking and I will upgrade that. It's too narrow and there is no platform on the top so makes turning around difficult. But that's a minor gripe. Great pool, no problems, the inflatable ring has held the air from day one. It is a lot easier to put the cover on with help from a friend, that's for sure! This will make a hot Mississippi summer a lot more bearable!

The description did not say anything about the accessories so we were presenting surprised to find the Tarp, and Ladder included with pool, set up was easy and quick, with summer just around the corner this is a must have item if you have children or grandchildren! Took just an hour or so to get it all set up. We didn't level anything and it's at least 4 inches off, so the pool is just higher on one side than the other. You can see the pic of my pool. Next year I may put some sand down, but we were in a hurry to get it up. We love it. The pump has a built in timer and it was just very simple and nice. We love it!

I had this pool for about a month before I was able to set it up. I live on a really hilly farm so we had to make adjustments to find a level place to set it up. Even now it is not completely level but it seems to be working out just fine. My only complaint is that the ladder that came with the pool is very unstable for people who are heavier (it is wobbles and shakes as you're trying to climb it). Other than that it is a great pool for the price. I would buy it again in a heartbeat (though maybe the 15 foot diameter one because it's easier to find 15 feet of level ground than 18 feet).

It's a great pool to have wherever I have tried for years to get an inground pool but the price is just ridiculous so a few years back my husband and I agreed on this pool and have had great luck with it. The only downfall is the pump size is very small so it takes some time to vacuum it, all in all great pool. The only reason we have went thru so many is because the lovely field mice decided during winter storage that they too enjoyed the pool and had a hay day destroying it and the most current one which was 2 yrs ago, well we had a pretty significant hail storm come thru and it punctured the upper tube and cover (which by the way would be great if it were included with the pool) so needless to say last year we took a year off but I said never again because it has brought much joy to our family and friends. Overall great pool for price, we certainly do enjoy ours:-)

This is not our first above ground pool, nor is it our first Intex one. this one came with a hole which was discovered after we already had it set up and filled. then after patching it ONE day later the pump is burnt out and not working. overall such a huge waste of money! we paid $300 for sand to make sure it was nice and level area for the pool, went through HOURS of setting this up and then filled it and all within 2 days it's already shot. we havent even been able to enjoy it once!!

This the second pool I have bought that I completely set up only to find it leaking. There needs to be better quality control on products that take this much time to setup. I was very disappointed in my purchase and will never but this style of pool again. Lucky for me, I bought this at Walmart and they never give a customer hassle when trying to return a product bought at one of their stores.

Within 24 hours of filling, two pin holes appeared in the sides. Now off to the store because the included 'repair kit' does not include the vinyl cement that is needed to make the repairs. We have not even used it yet but have over 5,000 gallons of water in this pool so hopefully it holds long enough for us to actually swim in it! Stressful!!! We followed all of the setup instructions and have been very careful with the pool. No one has gone near it except to check the fill levels...the quality is disappointing!

When I received this product the box looked intact. Some tape on one side. When I removed the outer box, I saw the inner box had received severe damage. Then upon opening the box, the pool had a foot long slice through multiple layers. Obviously, the warehouse staff damaged it, taped it up and let it go knowing full well that it was damaged. Not a very nice thing to do. Now I have to return it to a store, wait the 10 days for a refund, then purchase another pool, and summer will be over. Not cool.
