ARM & HAMMER Clear Balance Swimming Pool Alkalinity & pH Maintenance Tablets, White, 1 Pack, 16 Count

I picked this product up because I've had problems with my pool water the past few years. Water constantly getting green algae and poor PH and alkalinity readings. This product, for me, has solved this problem. Last year, around this time, my pool water would have been shocked numerous times to clear the algae. Since using this product, I've shocked the water upon start-up and had to do nothing more than take readings and add my chlorine as needed. All other readings have been spot-on! Love it! I'm glad I tried it!

I love love love this product. I buy up about 4 tubs to last me the whole summer. They help keep the ph and alkalinity at the right level and less algae in pool. I try to keep this product stocked up. Definitely don't get this item shipped. It had a lot of broken tabs when I did shipping. But I have a chorinator and poured the broken pieces and all in it and they worked just fine. I do pick up, delivery or go in store myself. Definitely buy this product. Its A Must Have in your pool supplies!!!

Using this product, you will never need to use ph adjusters or any other product to maintain crystal clear water. Used in addition to your normal chlorine regimine, you water will be perfect all year long. The shipping from Wal-Mart was a bit rough, as the tablets were all broken up.

Easy to use and keeps the pool crystal clear! However, Walmart's packing job was horrible! Two of the three containers where broken and the Clear Balance tablets were all over the inside of the box! Highly recommend the product, but NOT Walmart shipping!!!

I have had an above ground pool since my daughter was 4 (Different pools, of course.). She is now 47. I have always put floaters with chlorine tablets in my pool. But it has always been a battle to keep it clear. When I discovered Clear Balance, it was wonderful!!! I put 3 chlorine tablets and one Clear Balance tablet in each floater. The pool does just that: It stays beautifully clear AND balanced! No more burning from over-chlorination! I will never be without Clear Balance for my pool.

I just set up my new above ground pool this summer. I hate dealing with the pool chemistry. I'm not a chemist and don't plan to be. I was a bit hesitant at first in purchasing this, but when I read so many positive reviews, I figured I'd give it a try. I'm very glad I did. I started using them a few weeks ago and am now on my second bucket. From what I see, this product really does help maintain your pool's alkalinity and pH levels, keep my pool clear, doesn't sting or burn our eyes or skin, and eliminates the need for other costly corrective chemicals. I hate chemicals and try to keep them at a minimum. Even with this, though, I can't seem to get all my chemistry levels where they should be, but I'm not concerned because the alkalinity and stabilizer is where they should be. I put these in a floating dispenser, one for every 3" chlorine tablet that I place in another floating dispenser weekly. These dissolve quicker than chlorine, but for me, adding these weekly seem to do the job. One bucket, for me last a month. I use 4 at a time weekly in the dispenser for a 26 X 52' round pool under constant daily sunshine. Don't worry about needing to refill over and over again. The only time you need to put in more clear balance tablets is when you add more chlorine tablets. Do not combine the chlorine tablets and the clear balance tablets or they will have a chemical reaction. You can add your chlorine tablets in the chlorinator and the balance tablets in the skimmer, or do as I do and put one in one floater and the other in a separate one. I do this every week and my pool has perfect alkalinity. With this, all the hard work is over and now you can relax and enjoy your perfect pool! Overall, I like using Clear Balance in keeping my pool clear, clean and safe for every day use. I buy it at Walmart unless the store doesn't have it, which is what happened to me this last time. Then, I have to go on-line and purchase it there from another store.

Unfortunately Walmart is the exclusive distributor for the A&H Clear Balance Pool Maintenance Tablets which means they're expensive. In the past I've purchased them at my local Walmart store. Since the store was out of the product, I had to order three buckets on-line. They arrived via UPS about 4 days after ordering. The box was crushed and the contents broken and scattered. The box was way too big for the contents and the packaging was nearly nonexistent. I do not blame UPS, the fault was with the package/packaging. As for the tablets - they work fine. Make sure to read the instructions - which tell you NOT to place the tablets in the same container as any other chemicals - to avoid a potential serious problem. The tablets definitely help control chemical balance in my pool. I use three tablets each time I add chlorine tablets, also three, to the skimmer, usually one per week. I recommend the product but beware if having shipped from Walmart.

These tablets came broken to the point of most of them being dust. Out of 32 tablets only 8 were solid. These tablets do help keep the pool in balance and I would recommend them but packaged differently. I have reached out to Walmart to let them know the condition of these tablets when I received them but got not response.

Product may be OK, but when it arrived, boxed with some bags of spa chemicals, the box was half open (literally, one side had been ripped open completely, there was no packing material, and the top had made its way off the bucket and... it was a mess inside. Now, to get a refund, I've got to pack it back up, tape the holes in the corners where it's leaking powder, and made a mess on the floor until I figured this out, label it and find somewhere to mail it back. This was a shock; I can't tell you how disappointing, irritating this is.
