IRIS Jumbo Cat Litter Scoop, 2 Pack, Almond

Delivery person was unprofessional. I haven't used the product yet the the package was thrown over my fence instead of walking ten feet up my sidewalk and setting it on my porch like anyone else would do. I've never had that happen before. Also, it was packaged in an unnecessarily large box. At least four times bigger than necessary and filled with cardboard filling. Such a waste. I'm going to stick with shopping on Amazon.

Good scoops except the holes/spacing is too open, but at least the back portion has closer spacing. With this spacing split, it is just a matter of getting used to how to work with it.

On the positive side, the scoops are well made and sturdy. The problem with this scoop and every Iris cat product I've ever purchased is that they don't seem to know anything about cats. They need to hire someone to design their products who has actually cleaned a litter box before. This scoop is way too wide at front edge and still not small enough at the back edge to get the smaller clumps out of a litter box. Well made as far as sturdiness goes but a total fail as far as design goes. I'll be leery of buying any other Iris cat products in the future. I purchased an Iris litter box that had a ridge just inside the edge of the inside of the box which made cleaning the litter box difficult. You couldn't get at the stuff on the outside area inside the box because the ridge made it impossible to get your scoop into those areas. Iris needs to hire someone who has actually cleaned a litter box before to help them with the designing of their products. If they were designed better, they would be great products. The poor design makes them impractical.
