IRIS Open Top Cat Litter Box with Shield, Navy

I purchased these for my eldery uncle, who desperately needed new litter pans to replace the ones he had for his cats. These ended up coming in time, even though they weren't shipped for several days. and therefore i thlught they'd be delivered late.

Cats are fun but sometimes cleaning up a litter box is not fun. No more urine spills outside of the litter pan. Easy to detach the shield to clean and reassemble. The opening is nice size. The box is sturdy and light-weight for easy pickup. If you have a large or long length cat, order the larger size. Our cat is long and should have ordered the longer length.

I got this litter box because my new kitten was getting litter everywhere. I am pleased to say this box has put an end to that issue. It is deeper then the other litter box that was provided when I adopted him and the sides keep all the litter inside the box. My kitten easily gets in and out of this box as well.

Let's face it, if we could afford a $200 piece of furniture to hide our litter box, I wouldn't be writing this and you wouldn't be reading it. LOL Just adopted a cat. (Thank you, thank you🩷) My guy needs high sides. All other brands in same category are triple the price. Why? Navy blue wouldn't have been my choice, but it will be in the bottom of a closet, so it's not an issue. And this is made by IRIS. Have always appreciated their quality over the years. Pro Tip: when you set the lid in place, push down on the side slits where the rims meet to lock it in. Pull up to make sure they've caught. Get one. You won't regret it.

The litter boxes that I purchased are very well made. I use Johnny cat liners and the litter shield fits over them and locks onto the box with no problem. My cats are large and they use the boxes no problem. The size is perfect for my cats. I would recommend giving these a try .

I have kittens who like to dig in their litter which scattered it all over the floor. The guard is opaque and open on top, so they had no issues about using the new enclosed litter box. The top snaps on on the sides; I was concerned at first since it does not tightly snap on, but it proved to not be an issue. Because it is not tighly on, it is easy to take it off when it comes time to change the litter. When my 5 month old kittens decide to jump onto the shield to exit the box (instead of going through the doorway), it supports them just fine. The first one I bought worked so well, I bought a 2nd to replace my other litter box. I would definitely recommend this to others who have cats who like to dig

this box it was easy to assemble. the cat litter stays inside it even though it does not have a top. my cats have no problem using it. the downside is that you can see the cat poop in it so it is a constant reminder to clean it out. it was worth the price I paid for it. however if I were to get another box it would have a top on it

Simple enough to assemble. So much easier when there's two people. It's exactly what I wanted because I can store the litter on one side, which is out of sight and have the litter box in the other. One other nice feature - since it opens on the side, the cats can have a bed on the top.

I purchased it to replace a litter box if similar size for my make Manx cat because he doesn't always get the poop inside the box due to his tailess nature. I'm hoping he will be more successful with this one due to the side going up much higher with the add on top.

Worst design for the box itself. They didn't make it a flat surface so all everything gets stuck in the crevices and it's impossible to get out therefore the cat box constantly smells unless you take all the litter out and clean it thoroughly everyday!
