iRobot Roomba i1 Robot Vacuum, Wi-Fi Connected Mapping, 3-Stage Cleaning System, Cleans in Neat Rows, Ideal for Pet Hair, Carpets and Hard Floors, Model i115220

I've never had a robot vacuum before and this is a game changer! It is so simple to use as well! I was able to use it straight out of the box even though it recommends charging it more before the first use. It comes with simple instructions to download the irobot app and from there it is a quick as a button to get started once you connect to your wifi. I really like how it maps out your house and explores on its own. The suction was really impressive. I have mostly hardwood floors but it did take a spin on my carpet in my bedroom and you could see the lines from where it was vacuuming back and forth. I was able to run it every day for a week without having to change the dirt tray and even that was easy to pop out and clean and put back to be back in business. I love that you can set up timers for it to run on a schedule. I was worried it wouldn't make it over the hump from my hardwood to my kitchen floors but it had no problem whatsoever. I do pick up my rugs just so it isn't pushing it all over the place but I don't think that is really necessary. I love how advanced technology is and this vacuum can help so much with your day to day cleaning. I felt like the Jetsons living in the future! I definitely recommend this!!

I have no idea why I did not get one of these when they first came out. This is literally the best invention ever for house cleaning. I love that I can come home to clean carpets anyway I schedule them clean. Goes easily from tile, rugs, carpet and laminate flooring without kidding a step. It has a mapping system that allows it to do the entire house every time. The only drawback to this one is you have to empty the dirt canister and it may not be able to finish large houses without being emptied. If this one ever needs replacement I will definitely invest in the one that empties itself. This vacuum reaches places that a regular vacuum would never get. It also keeps the bottom of your baseboards clean.

I have a huge 3000sq foot work shop where I make art. It is a constant mess that I’m always trying to keep clean. And such a pain in the rear to clean the floor. I was so excited to get this roomba i1 to get the job done, and it blew my expectations away! I LOVE THIS THING. I no longer have to waste time trying to manually vacuum and sweep up my mess! This little precious thing comes along and does all the dirty work for me. It makes me question what I have been doing with my life entirely! I am free!!!! I love how thorough it is and has literally made my life so much easier. I cannot recommend this enough. The bristles seem to pick up every last grain of sand and dirt, I’m in total awe. I think every person in the world should have one of these so they can get back to living their life! And this is coming from someone who is not a big fan of robots taking over everything… however, I believe it can totally take over my dirty floors! I call her Cinderella, and she gets the job done!

Sadly returned because it was a gift for my son. He decided he wanted the one that also mops. Wish I had kept it for myself. Got my mom one too and she loves it.

It is a good product but misses too many spots and if the battery goes dead, it loses Wi-Fi connection and it is a hassle to get it back.

Seems to do a good job but it emits a sound like it is receiving a transmission from an a/m radio. First time I ran it I thought someone was talking to me through a walk-in-talkie, and it continues to make the sound each time. Very annoying.

can't get it to connect to our internet

I bought this to replace my old 600 series Roomba, and I am so incredibly disappointed after having used this for several years. The rubber rollers do such a poor job of picking anything up off the carpet. If anything, it will wad up debris and hair and then leave those wads all over the place. The suction is barely there, the mapping and the app integration is poor, and it takes hours to do a worse job than my other decade old vacuums. Why they ever abandoned bristle brushes in favor of this useless garbage, I'll never know. I've owned three Roombas, and this one is so bad I will never buy another iRobot product as long as I live. My old 500 and 600 series models are still going strong - just another amazing example of a company that ruined a perfectly functional product under the guise of "innovation."

Received item. Worked for 20 minutes and then kept getting an error message due to the filter. Cleaned filter as instructed and even purchased new filters to no avail. Ended up having to return.

Had it less than 6 months. Have kept it clean and changed filter regularly. Will not vacuum. It says it has a vacuuming problem. This the 2nd and last irobot for me. The first one lasted only 60 days.
