Ivarest Poison Ivy Medicated Cream, Max Strength Relief, Fast-Acting, Anti-Itch, 2oz Unscented

I have a severe allergy to Virginia Creeper that causes an extensive rash. This is the only thing that has helped. Wash rash gently with blue dawn dish soap in as hot of water as you can stand. This results in intense itching but then the itching stops. Do NOT scratch. Apply Ivarest as directed and let dry. Repeat every 6-8 hours. It forms a layer over the rash and the itching is under control for 6-8 hours. My ankles started healing in about 3 days and my arms are improving too. It does get on fabric but is easy to wash out.

This stuff is great! My husband ended up getting into some poison ivy while cleaning up our neighbor's trees that had fallen onto our property after a storm. I didn't realize he had taken his jacket off when loading up wood to hall off, and he didn't tell me he was itchy until a few days later when a rash had formed overnight and spread all over his arms. After trying a few different things, I ordered some of this! He had almost immediate itch relief. It actually worked better than the tube of Zanfel we had and it is soooooo much cheaper! After using it as directed, he was cleared up and completely rash-free in about 5 days. I've been a loyal believer in Zanfel for over 20 years, but after seeing the results this gave, I will definitely be keeping some of this on hand too now!

Recently had the worst reaction to poison ivy I've ever experienced, and this was the only topical ointment that provided significant relief for a few hours. Just be aware that the product is calamine pink and can/will get on fabric, but it does wash out easily.

I did buy Benadryl along when I bought this. I first tried this. It was cooling and it’s did the trick as relieving the urge to rip my skin off. Then I tried the Benadryl, but after a few minutes, I did begin to itch again, so I went back to this, and this is really helping.

If you have an itch that won't stop bothering you or a rash that that won't quit itching? This works fantastic for my family! Does good on mosquito bites also! Rub it in real good and the itch is usually gone! Sometimes I may have to apply it twice but rarely! RECOMMEND!!

I got this for my adult son. He's been suffering with poison ivy and he's tried everything to help. Get some relief.. nothing has worked . So I, after reading the reviews and what is in the product, I ordered this for him, and he was pleasantly surprised, that it worked well, and help relieving the itch. He had given up with a lot of other products. Thank you for such a good product! He also has gotten poison oak, and poison sumac, so I've ordered, your other product, like this, that claims to help that as well.

Thank heavens for Ivarest! Gazillion mosquitos where I live, and lots of yard work. I come in from the yard and put Ivarest on each of the bites. The bite marks go down overnight, and I'm not left with itchy or red bite spots. It makes the bite marks and itchiness go away more quickly than anything else. Ivarest is easy on the skin, does not dry it out. But wait till it dries to get dressed, or wear old clothes until the cream dries. It is like calamine lotion in a paste form with added antihistamine and pain relief ingredients.

best stuff I've ever used. works great on bug bites also. I've been delicious to bugs since i was a child. stops the itch and clears the bite quickly. does the same for poison ivy rashes.

Very disappointed it was a very watery orange colored cream. It was not easy to apply, and it was quite messy and in the end it didn't make the itching stop. I had to go out and purchase other ointments.
