All other adapters (USB-A to HDMI) do not work with my computer. I probably went through at least 5-10 adapters on Amazon, before coming acrost this. This is the best adapter I have found yet. I used it to connect my HP screen to my computer, which has no ports. It also works with my laptop, which has a monitor and this works with that. It is a little expensive, but it works. I also purchased a j5create USB-HDMI adapter, with 2 hdmi ports, and it also works wonderfully.

This does not need any software to work. it installs right off the box with Windows 11 home %26 pro . the max resolution is 1920 x 1080 aka 1080p. There is no latency (lag) in the video or audio. Both sync perfectly. I have 3 of these connected to a laptop and experience no problems whatsoever. IMHO this is the best way to connect multiple HDMI monitors using USB ports at 1080p resolution. I use them with USB 3.0 but i have tried them with USB 2.0 as well with the same results.

Got this to hook up a second monitor to my laptop, since the USB-C port was for data only. Admittedly, I was a bit frustrated with the adapter at first, as it didn’t work initially when I just plugged it in. After reading the instructions, I learned that I had to download drivers for the adapter from the company’s website first. After doing that and restarting my computer, plugged the adapter in and it works perfectly and has ever since!

Connected laptop to TV and seems to work fine. Video played smoothly and audio was good. Just plug and play, very simple to use.

Great product! It will let you add another monitor even if your computer does not have another monitor input. I had 2 monitors connected to my laptop. I used the adapter and including the laptop screen, I had a total of 4 monitors. Its very easy to install, just download the driver, plug in the adapter and that’s it. It will also allow you to use a TV with an HDMI input as a monitor.

Great connection not a fan of the price tho quality is great

The product is used for adding another monitor to your setup if your using a laptop with only one HDMI port. The product works better than my initial thoughts and I use everytime I get on my computer. Would recommend to others

This is the best thing since sliced bread. No more worrying about what type of port a particular computer has and if it is compatible with my monitors. No more contemplating having to unplug my monitors from either the back of them or the back of my desktop to switch devices. They all have USB. I have a laptop that I use for work and can't be used for anything else and a desktop for personal use. I had an old usb hub that I plugged my mouse and keyboard into as well as this adapter and just unplug from the laptop and plug into the front of my desktop and done. Very occasionally I have to unplug it and plug it in again for everything to be recognized but that is not often. It just works.
