Jacquard Soda Ash Dye Fixer 5 lb.

I looked everywhere for soda wash so I could make my own laundry soap. After searching several stores (apparently, everyone wants to make their own laundry soap!!) I ordered the soda ash online. It arrived in good shape and comes from a local company (Healdsburg, CA), so I'm even more happy about that. And my homemade laundry detergent is working nicely.

Walmart's price for this product was significantly cheaper than any other website I looked at. I just finished my first batch of tie dye and it turned out great.

I had no idea what soda ash is and was advised if your tye dying, buy it. Well I did and I have to say it works. Helps keep the color bright and brillant.

Soda ash is a necessity for dyeing my fabric. The site to store feature is great!

I used this to make myself a pair of huge curtains out of a couple of painters drop cloths and a cold process powdered dye. The cloth came out great, and now hang in my rec room. I used the soda ash to fix the dye, since they were dyed with ice cubes for a random design.

Does make a difference when tye dying tee shirts.

this does not work well as a fixative for tie dyes. vinegar would be better but it is a great cleaning product!

Great for rich dyeing clothing
