Jamaican Mango & Lime Nourishing Resistant Formula Locking Hair Styling Extra Hold Gel, 6 oz., Unisex

I've bought a few other products for my locs and this was my first time trying this one and I am pleased with the results. This product now is my go to and I love the smell as well.

The product is exactly what I need and works very well. The price was $3 cheaper than Amazon. It arrived quickly and other websites were not going to be able to ship it that fast.

The lock and twist gel has worked well on my hair especially during the summer. The gel keeps your hair well hydrated unlike other gels. It does not flake, your style will last for a while. I will encourage anyone to purchase this product for a great twist out on your natural hair.

I use this Brand Often, the Scent is the Best Part lol the Gel is Good Except the Hold is not as Strong as I needed, it did not have much hold on Basic Box Braids or Locs, but this could be simply because of Our Hair Type/Texture I would recommend trying it for yourself, for the Price, why not ?

Just open the product, but it looks like somebody had their fingers in it. Not sure if it was due to packaging or if someone actually did this as the jar does not have a plastic seal.

i dont like the consistency of it, my hair was thick for it and I just knew it was going to work because of the constant unraveling, i used small amount to prevent build up but before even using it for the first time i already got bad vibes from it, but that doesnt mean you shouldnt get it, all hair is different.

The older version of this gel (orange top) was truly gel: a light, creamy texture that left no white residue in my locs and had an amazing fragrance. It had great hold for my curly styles. This newer version (black top) is the polar opposite: a hard, waxy, tacky-feeling substance that leaves white residue in my hair. I can't comment on its holding power because I only took a little out and rubbed it on a loc to see if would show or not. I will be returning it immediately. I don't understand why this company decided to change this product. It has gone from amazing to awful. I will NOT purchase it again, nor recommend it.

Nothing personal towards the company; it's just not what I ordered. I read through every available picture and did not see aloe on the label. I'm allergic to aloe, and did not receive the option to replace or reject it.

Completely wrong item, like did the associate even take the time to actually look a the item??? Not to mention the lid was half way twisted off when I opened it causing some of the gel to spill in the packaging.
