This all metal gadget is worth every penny you spend! The Jar opener works with your hands to open any jar or lid. It's easy to use straight out of the package. Just clamp the two sets of teeth onto the lid, close the lever, hold the bottom portion of the jar and give it a little push to open any jar. It's that simple!

The teeth sometimes go below the lid so as to grab the jar rather than the lid. You have to position it so the teeth grab the lid - not always easy if the lid shallow and the edge rounded. But once you get it to grab the lid it works well. In some cases none of the other openers will work where this one does.

I am an eighty-four old female and I have bought every type of can opener I could find. None have worked as well as this one. I highly recommend it and will never have to purchase another one.

The jar lid opener was very easy to use. Holding on to the handle and jar was simple opening it and the sturdiness is really helps when opening the jar.

The device opened the jar just fine but lid is stuck in the device and it won't release the lid. Threw the whole thing away. A waste of money but I did get the jar opened.

hard to adjust to lid to open, moves around so not a good seal. If you have a problem gripping the lid to open then this won't work for you as you have to have a tight grip on the handle to twist off the lid and it moves around otherwise. buy a electric opener.

Did not come with gripper pads as advertised. The precision of fabrication was not good which made it not work easily. Cheaply made causing it sliding gear mechanism to not work without as it was intended—hand to use extra hand to hold catch mechanism as you tighten/turn handles.

I've tried it on multiple sized tops and it only works well on smaller tops. For example it cannot grab the top of a jelly bottle. Works fine on smaller tops, but you will definitely need to buy another one designed for larger tops. For the money I'd prefer to just buy one that works on any size top.

The device arrived without the rubber gripper pads. It still works but is very difficult to position on a jar. Somewhat awkward to grip the tightener handle and then push anti-clockwise.

Ordered a jar opener. It was 11 days from the time it was ordered till it was shipped. Once shipped it arrived in 3 days. Jar opener looks flimsy. The handle should be 4-5 inches longer.
