Having received these earbuds for testing , I had high hopes as being familiar with JBL brand you need to expect consistently high quality. And boy was I impressed. Setup and connection to my mobile phone was straightforward and a matter of seconds thanks to helpful manual attached. The sound quality is outstanding- crisp vocals, distinct sound ranges and bass that packs a punch. Noise cancelling is excellent and helps focus with ease and enjoy your music. Voice calls are clear and easy to manage thanks to high quality multiple microphones built in. I've tested these on the go in public transport and while connecting to my laptop on work calls, no complaints whatsoever. The real game changer is the native app which opens up a whole bunch of features and personalisation possibilities, whether it's custom tap options, noise cancelling adjustment or fully customisable EQ. Battery life is more than enough, lasting me days of intense use. Charging the earbuds in the case is helpful- a mere 20 minutes of charge powers you for a few hours. Overall the battery life achieves very close results to one's claimed on the website. My only slight concern is the occasional challenges with connecting multiple devices or switching between them, owing to which I found myself having to reset the earbuds a couple of times in the 3 weeks I've had them so far. Reset process itself is quick and simple though. Overall, I'm definitely happy to have the JBL Tune Beam 2 and will continue using the earbuds for certain.
I needed a replacement that wouldn't break the bank but could actually handle the racket of a proper commute. These new JBL Beams popped up, and I thought I'd give them a whirl. First things first, the noise cancelling. It's not going to transport you to a silent monastery, let's be realistic. But what it does do, and does rather well, is cut out that low, monotonous drone. The rumble of the Northern Line, the hum of the office air-con – it properly dampens it, letting you listen to your podcast or music at a normal volume instead of cranking it up to deafening levels. For that alone, they're a win in my book. Sound-wise, they're classic JBL. Punchy, a good wallop of bass, and clear enough for spoken word. If you're a classical purist listening for the subtle scrape of a cello string, these probably aren't for you. But for a bit of radio on the way to work or some '80s tunes to power through spreadsheets, the sound is more than decent. It's enjoyable, and that's what matters. The fit is spot on for me. They come with a few tip sizes, and the medium ones kept them snug without feeling like I'd jammed a potato in my ear. I even had to do a light jog to catch a connecting train and they didn't budge. Battery seems to be as good as they say; I've used them for a few hours every day this week and the case is still showing plenty of juice. Any niggles? The touch controls can be a tad sensitive if you're adjusting them in a hurry. I've accidentally skipped a track a couple of times when just trying to push one in a bit further. But you get used to it. All in all, I'm chuffed. They're a cracking bit of kit for the price. They do the job they're meant to do, they do it well, and they don't have any major flaws. A solid, reliable choice for the everyday.
The JBL earbuds arrived nicely packaged. It was easy to connect them to my phone and start listening to music. The sound quality is really good and clean, and they are pretty loud (I still haven't dared to try them on max volume). The noise cancelling is also really good. I used them while travelling on a plane with screaming child in front of my and they did really good removing the noises. I found the battery lasting well as after 5 hour flight plus using them some more time in the airport they still had some battery left and I haven't had to charge the case often. Overall I think these are great earbuds for the price.
I received these to test and review through #Reviewclub # Raver48 first off I was very impressed by the quality of these headphones. The sound is really clear, I listened to them in the house and also while on the go, they stay charged for a long time and don't take very long to charge up. I think these are excellent ear buds and I would thoroughly recommend these.
Love these earbuds, the bass is super punchy and they sit comfy in my ears even on long walks. Battery life's great too, lasts me through the whole day. Only thing is the touch controls can be a bit fiddly (miss a tap now n then), but honestly not a big deal. Overall def worth it, JBL nailed it again
I brought these to replace my old over ear headphones as they were getting to hot when I was out walking! It was the best decision I've made as these are so much more comfortable being in ear. All the added features are a bonus, I love that you can have them noise cancelling when you want to shut everything out and you can also have the ambient aware mode for when I am crossing the road or I need to listen out for my toddler! Overall great earphones and definitely worth the price ☺️
I found these headphones to be perfect for me. I like the ability to be able to switch from.noise cancelling to ambient aware. The headphones connect very easy and fast to my Bluetooth. The range is very high especially compared to other headphones I have used. The sound quality is brilliant and clear. The ability to switch songs with a double tap on the right headphone is a game changed and the switch between ambient aware and noise cancelling by clicking on the left headphones simplifies the use. The carry case is conveniently sized and fits in even small pockets. The lights show you how much charge is left and when connected to your phone it shows the percentage of the battery left. Overall best headphones around. Noise cancelling is excellent and actually does cancel the noise
I really like the overall design and fitting. With a few nitpicks Pros - Lightweight and fits perfectly with interchangeable ear tips - Sound quality is great - Really good noise cancellation, tested it on a flight, but not as good as Bose Cons - Bass lacks power even tried tweaking the equalizer - The case is extremely prone to scratch even inside the pocket - The case is not wireless charging like other competitors. - Battery could be better Overall I like it due to the lighweight design and extremely comfortable to wear.
I was gifted these by review club and JBL, and this is an honest review. The earphones come in a lovely sleek case. It is light without feeling cheap and is made from sturdy materials so your earphones don't get damaged. I received black and the overall aesthetic is really nice. So there are different settings on the earphones. These are adjusted by touching the earphones themselves. This is really handy so youre not messing about in a hurry. You can have noise cancelling and ambient. The sound quality is fantastic! The charge also lasts a long time even with consistent listening. The only reason I haven't given a 5 is because of the touch settings. I have long hair and when putting it out of the way if I touch them I inadvertently change the settings or turn them off as they are very sensitive. However I'll then try tapping them to turn off and it will skip between on/off/on. They are just a little too responsive and it can be frustrating. Other than that, fantastic product.
Good value earbuds I brought these mainly for use walking the dog for playlists and audio books. Featuring JBL's signature Pure Bass sound, the earbuds offer punchy lows and clear mids, perfect for pop, hip-hop, and casual listening. The comfortable, stem-style design ensures a secure fit. The water resistance feature was great for active use. Battery life is excellent, with up to 48 hours total and the Bluetooth connection has been stable throughout usage so far. When testing at home with other background noises around me I found the passive noise isolation is decent. Overall, the Tune Beam 2 offers great value, blending sound quality, comfort, and battery life into a budget-friendly package and I would recommend these as a good budget ear bud
