It was oddly lightweight, but very efficient. I was very happy to see that I can use it to tenderize different meats and to be able to marinate them better.

These are great for tenderizing and flattening meats. Both types work well for beef, pork and chicken. The mallet is best for flattening tenderloins or filets. The needle tenderizer works on larger/thicker roasts.

Works great. Had a cheap cut of beef and I used both utensils and the outcome was tender and flavorful.

works great but a little small

both items are very useful in the kitchen for tenderizing meats.....one example is; chicken breasts that are very large and thick...You can halve them and then tenderize for cutlets. you can then make chicken parmesan . the same goes with boneless pork loin slices,. ie: pork cutlets or your own cube steaks. i feel using these products actually end up saving you money in the long run.

Bought this for Christmas gift. Grandkids love it!

The hammer temderizer is to lite in weight should be heavier in weight the hammer should do the work not your arm the round tenderizer is fairly good the prongs do break through the different meats
