Perfect for larger room!! Though I miss it in the window as do not have extra floor space to house unit...very cool, a bit loud

I like that it's all self contained, so I don't have to worry about draining. I bought my 1st 1 in July 2023 %26 2nd one Aug 2024.

I purchased two units initially to help with the hot summer. I have a swamp cooler which is only good for about 20 degree change my condo is 1230 sq ft and the two units worked awesome. I live in Albuquerque New Mexico and the temp does get hot. The two unit kept my house at 81 degrees while the temp was 108 outside nevertheless I purchased a third unit and can't wait to set it up. Totally worth the money and the product is quality bigger than I expected but would purchase again in a second.

It's a powerful unit. It easily cools my converted garage which is at least 550 sqr ft. Do be prepared for the amount of water it takes out of the air. If it's at all humid you'll be emptying a five gallon bucket at least twice a day. But as it's a garage with a concrete floor in case of spills, I don't mind.

The item I received isn't what's pictured which is fine. The box said it was the same BTU and because I'm paying with Affirm, returns would be complicated so I figured I'd just give it a try. So far it's cooling the house down which is a plus. It��s not too noisy and installation was easy, just make sure the exhausted tube is secured well. I've read some of the reviews stating it puts out a lot of heat and shutting off quickly but I haven't had that issue, it's set to 68 so that might be why. My only major complaint would be to be aware if you're shifting it around on carpet. I checked on it this morning and the whole bottom half of the wall was wet and so was the carpet. Apparently the drain plug wasn't secured in place so it leaked out all night. Just make sure if it's moved any little bit to check the drain plug or you'll have a mess.

advertising says (self - evaporating ) ..no where does it explain to the a/c CLUELESS club that if you live in an area with over 85% humidity, you will need to A) by a humidifier AS WELL AS THE UNIT... but this will only prolong B) Dumping a really low to the ground plastic container the H20 is constantly filling up every couple hours C) cut a hole in the wall to drain the constant water flow or D) RETURN

I first bought this portable a/c in May of 2022 and it worked pretty good until about August 2023. Then it blew only warm air and would make the loudest banging noise. My warranty covered it and I bought the same one this March 2024. Not even 2 months and it has started with the loud banging noise again. Totally unacceptable. Plus when it did work- it was fairly loud. I suggest do your research and check other brands.

Receive the package and the box it was shipped in was heavily damaged. I opened up the box and the plastic piece that connects the tube to the AC unit was broken. The portable AC unit was terrible as well, the thing didn't blow out cold air.

shipping--by fedex on delivery the box was seriously damaged---fedex had no comment regarding the condition of the box---Returned item due to the damage--never opened box. Walmart chat was absolutely useless ---finally just used the online return process. Walmart did not refund my payment for over 15 days?? Although it was probably damaged by fedex Walmart is responsible and their overall response was unacceptable.

6 weeks and it already broke. So over the 30 days to return. Walmart gave me a number for the Customer service, and it's not even tfor the maufacture, looks like they dont even know what there selling. Dont waste you money or time on this. I would have given it no stars, but this site wont let you.
