Jif Natural Crunchy Peanut Butter Spread Contains 90% Peanuts, 40 Ounces

This stuff tastes as good as the "regular" kind, but without the hydrogenated vegetable oil. I also love it that Walmart is still selling the 40 oz containers as these are getting harder to find (especially if you want "Crunchy") at most grocery stores.

I'm not a big peanut butter eater, but I do enjoy my old-fashioned peanut butter and jelly sandwich sometimes and I buy it for its nutritional value. My husband‘s childhood nickname was Skip, but I told him I just don't like Skippy peanut butter. Jif is the best.

Whether using with jam and bread on a sandwich, or on crackers or celery as a snack, Jif Natural Crunchy is the perfect Peanut Butter, made with no HFCS, but with real sugar and molasses for sweetening. I wish they did not use Palm Kernel oil (why not peanut oil?!) but it does not detract from the great flavor, consistency and crunch for whatever purpose you have, from sandwiches, to snacks to baked goods. It's the best.

I got this because it was lower sodium and sugar and calories, but it tastes better than the other Jif… to me. It's really crunchy. The peanuts are at the top. Sometimes you need to mix it up. And you can add dry roasted unsalted peanuts to it. Not oily. Very healthy snack midday.

We love this brand of natural peanut butter at our house for sandwiches and snacks when we're hungry and/or on the run it's fabulous to have with some really good bread Yum Yum!!!

This particular peanut butter has the lowest sodium content. We looked at all the other brands at Walmart, Winn-Dixie and Amazon, this has 65 mg of sodium.

I ordered the 3 pack of Jif crunchy peanut butter in the very large jars because they do not sell it anywhere else near me in any grocery store, etc. When I received the order from Walmart online, they sent me TWO crunchy jars and ONE creamy jar. I did not order creamy. I was VERY disappointed when I saw that. I do not eat creamy peanut butter. As far as I'm concerned, they owe me a jar of crunchy. Someone packed the order wrong; don't know how, but they did! Not happy.

I mean, it's good. Lots of peanuts and I believe that it has twice as much as regular JIF crunchy peanut butter. However, it is unspreadable. Whatever extra chemicals they put in regular JIF PB makes it easily spreadable without tearing up the bread, even toasted bread. I guess if I add a little syrup that might work but I already have my stuff. The top, after opening it was hard, the kind of hard where you can knock on it with your knuckles without breaking it.

Same as my review for the creamy version. Good flavor but the price is too high. Good amount of crunch. More difficult to spread for PBJ but the crunch is my preference over smooth

What happened to JIF NATURAL Crunchy Low Sodium! ??? For years it has been a non oily firm peanut butter with the strong taste of roasted peanuts with peanut chopped larger for a great crunch. But this last 40oz jar had so much oil it could be poured out of the jar from top to bottom. Shocking ! And very little crunch. I saw molasses had been added to ingredients. Very disappointed. Will buy once more and hope it was a freak jar and it returns to its usual great original peanut butter.
