"JIFFY" All Purpose Baking Mix, 40 oz Box

I grew up with my mom using Jiffy Mix for many baking items. It has a softer texture than most of the other products that are available on the market. It is the best for making banana bread, and I have adapted it to make zucchini and even strawberry bread. Provides a light crust on the outside, but maintains the moisture on the inside.

Same great quality as they have had for many years, and is actually better than the more expensive brands, and way better than the less expensive brands. You can't beat it.

I can't believe the name brand jiffy is cheaper than the great value brand. jiffy mix is a classic. my grandma used it, my mom used it and now I use it.

3 cups of Jiffy mix 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1 lb of Hot Deans sausage a couple of shakes of hot sauce roll into quarter sized balls bake at 450 12 min or until they start to brown a bit makes the best sausage balls ever

This all purpose mix is all you need to stock in the pantry. It makes everything from bisquits to waffles and muffins. And it is not salty tasting like Bisquick Mix is! I've been using Jiffy Mix for 20 years now...just told my new daughter in law about it too!

Where have you been all my life. I like the taste so much better than Bisquick. Yeah no Bisquick flavor. Just homemade taste.

I've been using Jiffy for years. I make pancakes, waffles, biscuits and coffee cake. It's very versatile.

Not only does it make the best pancakes and biscuits, I use it instead of flour for making gravy and sauces. It is a little less expensive than the other baking mixes, but bigger on value in my books.

If one has ever taken the time to read the ingredients in their baking products, the issue is that of the source of baking powder: aluminum. This brand of Jiffy does not have aluminum in it while some of their others mixes do. Controversial subject for sure! I'm old enough to remember alum in pickles...let's see what happens during the next decades...hopefully, there are still enough of use alive to see its outcome and have not succumbed to overpopulation control!

Great value and price and prompt courteous delivery......but 3 out of 4 boxes delivered as part of a 4 box set package had best buy dates well into 2026. That was good. One box had a best by date of August 2025, 3 months plus past the order date and this box had exterior packaging damage on the bottom. The inner wax bag was intact, but when opened had a distinctive "old" smell. The 3 in date and undamaged boxes were great as expected.
