Chair tearing apart at seams.

Cory March 15, 2024

I have owned this chair for less than two months and the seat is already beginning to tear apart. They say this chair is rated up to 500lbs and I am nowhere near that max rating. I have contacted JONPONY and have requested a replacement/repair to the chair via their manufacturer's warranty and am awaiting a response. I will update this review contingent on the response from JONPONY.

Not so great

Yalonda March 23, 2026

I had it for a few weeks. I leaned back a little when trying to stretch my arms, and it cracked. Walmart should test these products before selling them.

It Broke in 16 days

Alexander August 23, 2025

It Broke in 16 days lol. was Delivered on August 8 it broke on August 24. The Right plastic arm broke at the base. Other then the plastic being too thin or something it’s a ok chair that broke in 16 days. I have bought more expensive chairs and they were also made of cheap parts, but they didn’t break in 16 days but after years. The chair also felt off balance when I leaned back in it like it was going to fall. It’s all such a waste of materials because the bottom of the chair was mostly made of metal and wood and cloth that’s good and strong but if you pretend to care about the environment waste like this is way more then the micro amount of oil plastic that could be avoided in packaging. the cost too do you have any idea how expensive a metal injection model the size of that plastic arm cost, you are not saving money by lowering the plastic cost that you have to re mill a new steal block to make a new mold to remake the arm properly. assembly was fine but the adjustment arm blocks one of the screws, the one where it broke. so I suspect they knew it was a weak point and would be a problem, and placed so the adjustment arm would hide it. this likely was why the chair felt off balance when it leaned back because the fulcrum is moved. Everything is made badly now. The back of the chair the bend is too low. Make a actual prototype and test it, the designer is too far from the physical object, he would learn a lot if he just sat in one chair he made. I got a picture of the brake pattern so you can see if the plastic mix was wrong and improve, even if it was it’s just too thin. Yeah so I am not ripped but I am not fat, I tried to included a picture of me I’m fit but it only let me have one picture so I went with the one that shows the material shear breakage.

Broken Chair and Poor Assembly Quality

Adam February 1, 2026

To assemble this chair, I have to reshape the legs to slid into the assembly. I put them into a vise to make them more round. In addition to that, it lasted about 12 hours worth of sitting with the back piece breaking in half. I would not recommend this product.

Terrible constructed put together Office Chair wit

Chexcy February 9, 2026

This item was repackaged. Previously purchased and returned. The assembly paper lists items by A-K yet all screws in one bag, no labeling. The arm back connect not what’s it picture. It seems these parts were taken from something else, gathered up and put in box to hope to fit. It’s fits small and is uncomfortable. Best part is the rolling legs, not the most important which is the seating area. Chair is for a small/slim kid. Not for a big guy and is totally not comfortable. Not for young adults. Not for homeschooling. Not for sitting on period. I had to attach only one part of the back rest area to get room in the back of chair (which doesn’t fit the assembly port under seat). However the seat length area is not long enough for that method. Just bad all around

They don’t ship the item. Don’t bother waiting.

Eliah December 15, 2025

I ordered to chairs and they never came. I was told different dates multiple times and now that it’s getting closer to Christmas, I decided to lose hope and ask for a refund. I have never experienced a hassle or a game of tag with ordering items and it not coming on time or even shipped at all. I don’t recommend this product as the same has happened to multiple people as read on prior reviews.

The back support won't stay up and is laying down after we built it and we've built many chairs before so we followed the instructions correctly. I tried to contact the seller to exchange the chair but due to my email not being able to receive anymore emails and they won't answer me through a different email so I give up
