Our cats love it! They tend to lick their fur, causing it to get matted and sticky but with this brush I can clean their fur easily! We also have a long-haired kitten and his fur gets tangled up sometimes. In the summertime ours cats shed all over the place so this brush prevents that as well. An inexpensive but good quality cat brush. Recommended.

My 2 long-haired cats (one a Norwegian Forest) love this brush and have no mats; my short-haired doesn't care to be brushed more than 3 strokes. It's soft on their skin yet easily pulls out loose fur or tangles. This is 2nd one I've purchased for my cats and I am gifting 2 others to friends.

I like this brush. My cat, though, just wants to chew on the bristles.

This a very well made brush, exactly as advertised. It's comfortable to hold. Unfortunately, it just doesn't work for my long haired cat. The brush just glides over the top of her fur and doesn't get the loose hair out of her undercoat. It might work on a short haired cat, but I've gone back to using the old wire slicker brush.

i needed a brush that wasn't made of medal since i had one for my cats and it was too hard on their skin; i felt that it might hurt them so i looked for a brush made of plastic and ordered this one but it seems that the bristles are too close together to really do anything

Not that great for long hair or under coat.
