K9 Advantix Flea, Tick & Mosquito Prevention for Extra Large Dogs Over 55 lbs., 2-Monthly Treatments

We had been having trouble with fleas when our dog. I had tried various other flea treatments, but none of them seem to work to eradicate all of the fleas. After reading the reviews,I had hopes that K9 Advantage might help. I’m glad I took the chance. One treatment was enough to kill all the fleas off my dog was in days. And they stayed off. I’m relieved to finally found a flea treatment that will work as promised.

I've used this brand before with another dog, so I know it works well. It is easy to apply and you only need to use it once a month. At the time that I purchased it, it was around $15 for two applications, with it only needing to be applied once a month. As such, it will hopefully get me through flea and tick season without needing to buy more. And even if I do need to buy more, it won't cost much and won't take long to receive it, so it makes it easy.

This is the only product that works for fleas and I love that it is more affordable and also offered in smaller packs as I have 4 different size dogs. I understand having to have this stuff locked up in the store but it is quite inconvenient to have to find/wait for an employee to come unlock the area in the store so I’m glad I can have it delivered and still get it same day without the hassle. I understand theft is a big problem but I do often get tired of being inconvenienced due to other people’s behaviors. (In relation to the items being locked up)

I had been using a different product and my dogs were still itching so I decided to purchase this one - it’s magical how a brand name F/T medicine worked so quickly. Haven’t seen them itching/scratching much at all this last month. Will be purchasing again.

I have used K-9 Advantix on my dog for years and it does control fleas and itching, and since my dog sleeps with me, that is very important. It is also important that when I realized I was out, I went on-line to order it and picked it up the same afternoon. Both K-9 Advantix and Wal-Mart deserve 5 stars!

I have used this product for a couple years now. It has always been effective at preventing and treating fleas and ticks. I'm not *********% sure about the biting flies, but my three year old Catahoula bulldog is an indoor dog and only goes outside to go potty or about three times a week to socialize with other dogs at a leashless dog park nearby. I haven't noticed any biting flies swarming him at least. I have used other flea/tick treatment, that one from Walmart as well, costing $5-$6 for a three month supply, and discovered that brand wasn't as effective after seeing a tick on my dog and increased scratching four days after applying that flea/tick treatment/prevention. I was wanting to test it's efficacy based on the very cheap price and won't use it again. Lesson learned. The price of this flea and tick treatment is very affordable, and it truly works. I have used it long enough to know it works. If anything, give it a try and see for yourself.

I have used k 9 Advantix 2 for as long as I can remember on my other dogs from years and years ago it's the only thing I would use and I was so happy with it never seen a flea mosquito tick never and now I have one dog he is going on 10 years old never had a flea or anything because of the k- 9 Advantix 2 I repeat two I ordered this and it is the wrong thing but I didn't stress about it because I assumed it would be just as good and last just as long well it's been almost 2 weeks it has not lasted I have bites on me which is never happened in 20 years my dog has big whelps on him. I'm not bashing this medicine I'm just saying it's nothing like the k-9 Advantix 2 so please pay attention to what you order and make sure it has the two on it. because that stuff is a godsend. he's 10 years old almost and never had a flea did not know what a flea was or a tick never had a bite on him none whatsoever. until now that we use that I never give a bad review but that stuff is just not as good as the two. it may work for others but it has been misery for us.

My experience, it seems to work for only 7-10 days. I still use it done, however, being on a fixed income, I can't afford to buy it three times a month to last thirty days. I'm afraid to use anything else since the manufacturer says it stays in the system for the full time.

Gave all 3 dogs a bath. Cleaned and vacuumed home with flea treatment even though I have not had any on me, my dogs were scratching. First treatment did not help. I thought maybe it was just it had to have time, 2nd month still scratching dogs. It may have helped some but not sure.

We live in an area surrounded by woods so maybe we need something stronger but this did not work for our dogs at all. Both dogs got baths and had all of their bedding washed before application. Couldn’t tell it did anything to kill the fleas that the bath didn’t get off and definitely didn’t prevent new ones.
