K9 Advantix Flea, Tick & Mosquito Prevention for Medium Dogs 11-20 lbs., 2-Monthly Treatments

We had been having trouble with fleas when our dog. I had tried various other flea treatments, but none of them seem to work to eradicate all of the fleas. After reading the reviews,I had hopes that K9 Advantage might help. I'm glad I took the chance. One treatment was enough to kill all the fleas off my dog was in days. And they stayed off. I'm relieved to finally found a flea treatment that will work as promised.

This is the only product that works for fleas and I love that it is more affordable and also offered in smaller packs as I have 4 different size dogs. I understand having to have this stuff locked up in the store but it is quite inconvenient to have to find/wait for an employee to come unlock the area in the store so I’m glad I can have it delivered and still get it same day without the hassle. I understand theft is a big problem but I do often get tired of being inconvenienced due to other people’s behaviors. (In relation to the items being locked up)

I have used K-9 Advantix on my dog for years and it does control fleas and itching, and since my dog sleeps with me, that is very important. It is also important that when I realized I was out, I went on-line to order it and picked it up the same afternoon. Both K-9 Advantix and Wal-Mart deserve 5 stars!

I ordered this for granddaughters dog. She had a huge patch of hair pulled out by her tail. Granddaughters mom said most drops break Mags out, possible infection. This really helped her without causing any physical problems. Mags is getting hair close to her tail again She doesn't live with me or I would send pic. Mags a happy girl

I prefer an oral flea treatment as I don't want pesticide in my own bloodstream from the topical getting on everything the dog lays on (%26 then I touch). But I have 1 dog that can't take oral treatment. So I've used Advantix for 12yrs. I do bathe him exactly 24hrs after application to avoid it transferring around my home.

I have used this product for a couple years now. It has always been effective at preventing and treating fleas and ticks. I'm not *********% sure about the biting flies, but my three year old Catahoula bulldog is an indoor dog and only goes outside to go potty or about three times a week to socialize with other dogs at a leashless dog park nearby. I haven't noticed any biting flies swarming him at least. I have used other flea/tick treatment, that one from Walmart as well, costing $5-$6 for a three month supply, and discovered that brand wasn't as effective after seeing a tick on my dog and increased scratching four days after applying that flea/tick treatment/prevention. I was wanting to test it's efficacy based on the very cheap price and won't use it again. Lesson learned. The price of this flea and tick treatment is very affordable, and it truly works. I have used it long enough to know it works. If anything, give it a try and see for yourself.

I have used k 9 Advantix 2 for as long as I can remember on my other dogs from years and years ago it's the only thing I would use and I was so happy with it never seen a flea mosquito tick never and now I have one dog he is going on 10 years old never had a flea or anything because of the k- 9 Advantix 2 I repeat two I ordered this and it is the wrong thing but I didn't stress about it because I assumed it would be just as good and last just as long well it's been almost 2 weeks it has not lasted I have bites on me which is never happened in 20 years my dog has big whelps on him. I'm not bashing this medicine I'm just saying it's nothing like the k-9 Advantix 2 so please pay attention to what you order and make sure it has the two on it. because that stuff is a godsend. he's 10 years old almost and never had a flea did not know what a flea was or a tick never had a bite on him none whatsoever. until now that we use that I never give a bad review but that stuff is just not as good as the two. it may work for others but it has been misery for us.

It does seem to work well but it doesn't last a full month, lasted about two weeks before fleas started reappearing. You do have to be careful about side effects or allergies. (hair loss, itching, skin inflamation, etc) Still worked better than most other brands just a shame about the hair loss for some dogs.

It's been 2 weeks since I applied this to my Chorkie. We are still pulling ticks off of him daily. I liked this at first because it had no smell and wasnt greasy but I definitely will not buy it again. On the plus side we havent seen any fleas, but our main concern was ticks anyway.

Gave all 3 dogs a bath. Cleaned and vacuumed home with flea treatment even though I have not had any on me, my dogs were scratching. First treatment did not help. I thought maybe it was just it had to have time, 2nd month still scratching dogs. It may have helped some but not sure.
