Was what I was looking for to give as a gift
We are really enjoying the Kan Jam Value Pack! We just bought a new home and it's perfect for our first outdoor activity. We have also been using the discs to play frisbee and it's so much fun. Can't wait to check out more games from this brand and have over some family and friends for a great time! Highly recommend!
My kids had an absolute blast with this set. They love corn hole, and although there was a learning curve with actually learning to aim frisbees at a set target, it was an all around blast watching them with this set. It went together very easily, and the point system is simple and easy to remember. This is definitely going to be a summer favorite, both for the kids and adults!
This Kan Jam value pack is literally 2 games and both are fun. We like to play bean bag toss when we have family get togethers, that's always been our thing. I introduced the outdoor game at our last get together I thought mainly for the kids since the adults were playing the usual, but the adults started checking out this game and played it until dark. They seemed to like it more than the beanbags. We're getting ready to go camping and I thought it will be nice to take it with us. It's lightweight and a lot easier to move around than those big bulky wooden boards. I played the table top game and not only was it fun for me, but I got to spend quality time with my kids, they absolutely love it. It reminds me of those paper triangle footballs we used to make when I was in school that we would flick off our desks. Of course my kids didn't know what I was talking about, but the table game is neat because it challenges you to get it in the goal and you can keep score. They're both fun to play and it's a little something for everyone.
We set the outdoor game up in the back yard and played for about half an hour and got lots of cardio exercise. By reading the rules of the game, it didn't sound like an exercise game but you really get a workout trying to slap the Disk to the goal (more than the throwing player). The Disk is very well balanced and tough as nails. You'll need some practice to develop your throwing skills and a little luck to win the game. According the the game rules, you must score 21 points to win after an even number of throws, but you can adjust them if that's too difficult for your situation. We love the outdoor KanJam and this value pack includes an indoor table-top "Gliders" game with scoring slot on the bottom of the goal Kan. The table game, which employs a launcher (think of it as a wicket), disks (glides on a thin sheet of air or flies depending on how you employ the launcher) and the Kan scoring goal, is great for night time and or inclement weather. Bottom line: Thumbs up. Made in the USA!
This game is fun and high energy. The objective is to score points by flying your frisbee into the opponent's goal. My family is very competitive, so we had a great time playing Kan Jam. I love that it got us outdoors and active. The table version is fast paced, and great for travel. The games were easy to assemble and the directions were clear. This will definitely be a family staple.
We want to spend more time outside as a family, and this helped get us out there. The Disc game was the best for us, since it was easier than the table top game. However, the table top is perfect for those at a BBQ that honestly don't want to run around too much. Great for just having some casual fun outside and the materials are really high quality. The disc game is a bit harder to play than a bean bag type of set up, but the challenge made it more engaging. It is a bit bulky to store, but not terribly so. It comes with easy instructions and minor assembly (some stickers to put on, see pics). Overall, I would recommend it if you are into outdoor games and want a bit more of a challenge.
When we got this my kids were eager to open it up and play. This set comes with 2 heavy duty plastic goals and a frisbee type disk. The box itself is what you use to store it in but the goals can also be flattened out taking up no space at all. We don't have a huge backyard so we have yet to be able to play this game correctly. I believe they recommend the goals be 50 feet apart. But with an 8 and 2 year old that seems like it's always the case no matter what game you play. We can spend a good hour or more playing this when my husband and teenage son join. I can't wait to take it to the beach. This set also included a mini table top game that in my opinion is much harder to play then the original game. But the boys have fun slinging the little disks across the room! I definitely recommend this if you are looking for something different to play outside.
Pretty sure Walmart sold me a returned set without any indication that it wasnt brand née while ordering. The set was loose in the box with tape holding the box together when it arrived. The set also had smudges and marks on it. Still good acceptable condition and they gave me a $10 store credit when I contacted them about it.
This game is a lot like disc golf. My 12 year old had fun with this at her birthday party this year. If you enjoy frisbee and disc golf you will enjoy this portable frisbee game. The plastic cans are a bit hard to put together but hopefully it will get easier as it gets use. I do like that it comes apart and is portable. The table top version is cute mini version of the same really.
