Karcher K5 2000 PSI Electric Pressure Washer

I've only used it once so far and it seems to be very good. Very quiet when using it compared to previous models. The device is easy and fast to assemble although when opening the box it seems that it is complex to assemble it. Although I had problems in the initial order due to systems issues and I had to make a cancellation and reapply for the same product, everything was very well managed and indicated. Also, when the first order arrived, I had to turn it back because I saw a stranger oil leak inside the box issue and reapply for the same product. Perhaps for some other people of little patient personality, they might be a little upset and post a bad rating. I know that everything was delayed in the delivery process, but despite this, I would buy it again since I liked how the problem was solved.

Karcher machines are good at what they do, and having moved recently from Australia, I had to leave my 240v machine behind, but kept all of my add on accessories. As a result, a new K5 was for me. The machine arrived quickly, and was relatively straightforward to assemble, assuming you read the instructions and don't just "jump in". Setup was a 10 minute job, and then I had the wand in the hands of my 11 year old, and she proceeded to clean the path and create rainbows with the spray. Good clean fun. Overall, the performance is solid, and the machine works as advertised. A good buy.

Good unit. The only issue I find that could be addressed is compatibility with other upgrade manufacturers. Better quality handle could also make it more appreciated among users.

So far have used it for a Deck, Concrete, Pressure treated wood and to cleaned my Garage floor. Spend a few minutes with the manual, read, understand and wear your safety goggles. I have to say it was efficient and powerful enough. They have kept the cost and the weight down with plastic where appropriate.

Sold my last Karcher washer so I could get a more powerful washer. Had last washer 12 years with no problems. Always drained pump and kept it inside so no freezing.

I have 3 three Karcher premium series and they all have the same breakdown (each broke after two years). Plastic pump does not withstand high pressure. Do not even think to buy. Upon request, I can send a picture of three pumps nearby. Unfortunately you can't post photos here.

I bought this washer not even a year ago to wash my truck and stuff around the house. Its broken 3 times in less than a year at this point its not even worth going through warranty my warranty is good until july. Its pointless at this point ill just shop somewhere else for a more reliable machine. Its all just plastic junk.

I bought this product a year ago. Only used it 5-6 times, never abused it. After taking it out of storage this year, i hooked it up to wash my car, and there were loss of pressure, later realizing its leaking water.

I've had 2 of these in the last 4 years and both of them failed within a few months of the warranty. They are very lightly used, stored in a heated space and I drain the pump after each use. Both failures were in the pressure switch that controls the motor. The first one wouldn't activate the motor when the handle was pressed. The second one wouldn't stop running when the handle is released. I've always thought Karcher was the top brand but I'm afraid I'll have to look elsewhere.

It ran for 5 hours and quit working. I went to return today and get a note saying yesterday was the last day to return.
