I wouldn't recommend this for a large cage,nor for a medium due to the fact it wouldn't be enough to cover the floor of the cage. Now if you buy those dinky butt cruelty cages that Kaytee advertises,then yes this size of bedding would be perfect.

great stuff the only kind that hasn't given my animal some kind of respiratory infection from dust so glade i found something that works and safe for my loved pets

I can't believe how good the stuff works! This stuff is not very expensive and it works really well.

I recommend this to anyone with a small caged pet. Holds in odor and our gienea pig loves making his bed in this!

While it effectively absorbs urine, it can be unpleasant to observe after urination. Consequently, daily bedding changes are necessary. Notably, I did not detect any unpleasant odors. Additionally, it is an eco-friendly option. The texture was satisfactory, although the packaging was not particularly impressive. Overall, the bedding was exceptional for my bunny's comfort.

Looks very durable and packaged tight and it expands to a bigger pad as well and fragrance free too!!

It is soft, fluffy and unlike others does not get caught or tangled up in his fur (double maned Lionhead so lots of fur!!) The price of Kaytee is also lower than a similar popular brand, so that is also a plus. It is packed compactly, and expands when fluffed.

I like that there is less dust compared to using pine shavings which is better for my daughter guinea pigs. The only downside is the bedding easily shows droppings and urine causing the cage to get dirty quicker.
