This commode is great! Very very very easy to assemble. Adjustable height AND width make it extremely comfortable and easy to use as well. This was perfect for an after surgery situation and I've also used it for an aging loved one that couldn't make it to the bathroom anymore. This is a great product, 400 pound weight capacity too. I can't say enough good things about this commode.

Top criteria is that this be sturdy and stable. It is. Found it very intuitive to put together even without the directions. You can takeoff the toilet and just use it over the toilet as well which is what we really needed but it's nice to have the option. We purchased some disposable potty liners as well.

This chair is a Godsend if you are recovering from an injury/surgery! It was simple to put together and I like that you can take it apart again when you need to store it. You can use it as a standalone commode chair or you can place it over a regular toilet if needed (which is extremely helpful if you have trouble bending down or sitting on a lower toilet seat). The padded seat is comfortable and I especially appreciate that it includes a toilet paper holder (most commode chair models don't have that)! I would also recommend buying disposable plastic liners for the basin as it makes cleaning up easier!

I've had a couple of these and both are made consistently well. They make for a relatively easy and adjustable seat for the bathroom. I like that the pail lets you use it by itself, or over a toilet. By itself works best since the pail fits up high and doesn't allow for any "misfires" into the toilet for #1.
