We finally decided to keep the item after a walmart carrier delivery issue. But as far as the actual item itself the description here on Walmart.com is very accurate, the specs all of it is very accurate for the item that we received. It worked very very well very good suction and I am happy that we decided to keep it. The sleek silver design, not too heavy, not too noisy, the brushes were helpful for different things that we needed to do like suction in between the couch pillows and suction on the stairway that is carpeted in our home so it was very versatile for the uses that we needed even the curtains - we have panels on the back but fabric in the front so it helped with getting the dust from off the top of those that we had some settling and it was just amazing our ceiling fans same, with the dust with that and it was just amazing . Kenmore is a very good brand that we grew up with in our home as kids and they have been around for a very long time and survived and have been at the top for a while and we only hope that they continue. There are several Kenmore items in our home and this is just another welcoming addition. Great job Walmart and Kenmore, keep up the great work. 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍

Very nice, well thought out vacuum cleaner, however, it is heavy which to me is a good thing, because if they are too light, they typically won't do a good job of cleaning. When the rotator brush is on, the vacuum is easy to push/pull, and gives plenty of height adjustments, and you can't beat the 35' cord length!!!

We owned the previous version of this vacuum since 2012, the 31100. It is running well in 2021 but has some cosmetic issues with the handle and bumper that wore out, and we want to donate it while it is in good shape. We use this upright vacuum for a deep clean of our rugs and carpets. We use a foam roller stick vacuum for the hardwoods, and we own a robot vacuum. We are a little obsessed. This vacuum has direct drive motors on the agitator (not so on the 31140), which was a big reason we bought it again. No maintenance on that part for 10 years. It has incredibly strong suction but unlike the Dyson Ball Animal 2 and a few others, it isn’t hard to push. It has larger and wider set wheels than the old model. It doesn’t feel like a 20 lb vacuum, but our old model might have weighed more. An able bodied teen or adult can carry this up or down the stairs. If you lower the agitator too much it can feel self propelled — but could tear up the rugs. We have one Berber rug that recommends we not use the agitator. The 31150 has plenty of suction to clean it. We also bought it for the included attachments. Our old vacuum had a similar Pet Handimate but the one that comes with the 31150 is like a jet engine and beats on upholstery incredibly well. (There is a separate upholstery brush and suction reduction if the agitator is too much). We have two boys and a dog, and the vacuum and attachment can get their barbed short hairs out of our furniture without tangling. I know some report that the Handimate doesn’t do well with long hair. We haven’t had an issue but don’t have much long hair. This new version makes it much easier to clean out — a couple of tabs pop the bottom off to get to the belt and agitator. This vacuum also has an extension wand. The old vacuum had this attached to the flexible hose all the time but in this model it’s clipped to the side. It’s well built, extendible and handy. It has more limited reach than a canister vacuum or one with lift-away function. We use a strong stick vacuum for that need. I know Vacuum Wars was critical of the extension hose attachment. It’s simple enough but the suction control valve is right next to that so I think the guy was a little confused. This 31150 also stands up a lot better than our old 31100. The dirt sensor is useful. We don’t mind the location of the height adjustment. I know Consumer Reports has an issue but the alternatives are either less section or auto adjustment which doesn’t work for thick pile rugs (see Dyson Ball Animal 2). If you want THE strongest suction on a vacuum for deep cleaning and can’t justify paying 2 - 3x as much for a Miele or Sebo, this is a great choice. We looked seriously at the Sebo Felix, which has its advantages but we knew this vacuum well and it offers 80-90% of the features for a fraction of the price. It is very well built. Our old vacuum was a rebadged Panasonic and the 31150 is a Cleva using Panasonic’s engineering and manufacturing.

super strong on the suction. it's on the heavy side, but when it's got that much suction power it's going to be heavy

this is the 3rd household associated with me that has one of these and people should buy them while they are still available.. I wasn't sure walmart had it in stock but am glad they did.

Powerful and dependable. I have used the same model before, and it lasted an acceptably long time. There was still plenty of suction power, but the brush no longer rotated. I wanted to get the same model because it served me so well. I like that bag is o easy to change.

I have had this same model before. I hate the bagless vacuums -- they create so much dust and dirt when you empty them. This is so much cleaner and better in my opinion. It is a sturdy machine and does a good job. The wand connection could be a better design as it broke and the arm falls off - that is why I am getting another one -- just a poor design but can still be used -- overall decent vacuum. Of course, not a Miehle -- they are the best but also 3 times the cost. This works for me. I have been cleaning many many years so picky.

I LOVE this vacuum. Almost all of my rugs are orientals. I set the vacuum on "Med/low" pile and "carpet" and WOW! Particularly great on a purple antique rug of my grandmother's which shows every cat hair. Then I used the brush attachment to get cat hair off of a velvet chair and the back of a sofa. Neither had been vacuumed in quite awhile. Poof! Hair gone. Great at vacuuming up everything else and wonderful on the hardwood floors on "floor" setting.

Assembling it was difficult as the screw seemed short and it was difficult to align it to insert for fastening the handle. It was heavier than I expected making it difficult to maneuver to turn to the side or backwards. Very powerful motor that it practically drove itself forward. The electric cord is too long for us, and makes it's use unwieldy and potentially a fall hazard. The ribbed hose for attachment seemed stiff and difficult to stretch to use the accessories. I don't know if the smell when turned on was because the vacuum cleaner is new or there was another problem. However, it's power suction was excellent. The telescoping and other attachment were very nicely designed as was on-board storage. I was disappointed that it had only one inserted vacuum bag. My local hardware stores did not carry this model, and 1 on-line site of 2 said it did not carry the bag. When ordering on line, I did find out later that the bags were cloth made and that the Type U, which are paper made were an alternative. I ordered this item based on a Consumers Report and a review or 2 on-line. Delivery time was excellent. However, the picture of where the item was delivered was not informative enough, living in a large apartment house.

This vacuum is a beast! It's super heavy and the hose for the tools is so stiff that it's extremely hard to maneuver! While it does do a decent job on the floors (I wouldn't say the BEST job but way better than any shark I've had), it's very difficult to maneuver and use. If you want a workout while cleaning, this is the vacuum for you!
