This is one powerful little tool. The Shark ION W1 Cord-Free Handheld Vacuum WV200 is small and takes up very little space, but oh it is powerful. I had my doubts when I unpacked the Shark ION W1 Cord-Free Handheld Vacuum, it's that lightweight and small. I didn't think that this could have much suction but I was very surprised at how wrong I was in my initial assumption. It's very easy to put together right out of the box. Comes with two attachments, a wide nose multi-surface pet tool and a crevice tool. I plugged it in and charged it overnight. Next morning I was ready to give this a good try out. I have a regular large vacuum and a non electronic for quick pickups, but needed a handheld for the kitchen and bath and any smaller quick pickup needs. This unit fits my needs perfectly. I wanted this for use in my kitchen and the hall, so I tried it in the kitchen first. I seem to for ever drop crumbs, flour and cuttings under the cabinets feet and am forever pulling out the broom. I hoped having this plugged in in the kitchen I need no longer bend on hands and knees to clean up after cooking and baking. Well I tested it after I finished making bread, sucking up flour and crumbs. It did a fantastic job. Although the dirt cup is small it was big enough to handle plenty. I don't know if it will have a problem with damp crumbs, so I tried that too hoping I didn't condemn this vacuum by breaking it. It's not something I would recommend though, it worked on moist crumbs but left a mess on the screen and the brush. The filter isn't a problem since I was able to wash it under the faucet, but the dust cup I had to wipe dry and clean with paper towels. Not worth the troubles. Worked perfect in my half bath and the hall, did suck up the flour I spilled on the counter too. Did a good job on my door mat as well. I don't have a pet right now so I can't tell you how it handles pet hair. Based on how it handles yarn and threads I say you have to move a bit slower to give these larger items a chance to be pulled into the dust cup and not get hung up on the brush. I had to run over the little yarn pieces a couple of times, maybe because it was wool, but it did suck em up. My regular vacuum always resists these too, or they wrap around the brushes, which is frustrating. This vacuum didn't fight me near as much, I think it should handle pet hair just fine. Since I am using it every day it's just right as long as I empty it after use which is a piece of cake, push a button and it's dumped out. A regular quick cleaning of the varied filtering protections is a good idea. With the push of a button it emptied the cup and I didn't have to touch anything. There is a filter screen protector, and some bristles, both helping protect the motor. These are easily cleaned just wipe the screen, but you have to pick or brush the brushes. I wish they provided a tool for these, because they need to be clean or it will hamper further suction, especially the brushes. There is also a filter cup, easily removed, tapping it will remove larger dust particles and it can then be washed by hand. Regular cleaning the different parts which protect the machine should keep this little powerhouse running for a long time. The accompanying instructions are well put together with pictures showing you all the parts of the vacuum, how to use and how to keep it clean and working. It also has a section covering possible problems and solutions for these. The Shark ION W1 Cord-Free Handheld Vacuum WV200 is covered by a 2 year warranty, which I find great. Don't forget to fill in the product information on this instruction sheet so you have them at hand if service is needed. I have to tell you I am amazed at the powerful suction this little handheld has. It actually sucked up deep seated dust off vacuumed regular carpeting! Dust my larger vacuum left behind! Surprised me! Picking up threads and larger items works okay as long as I run it over those more slowly and the cup and brush and filters needs cleaning or at least checking when sucking up a lot of dust. It handles crumbs on sofas and recliners, getting into the crevices real well. It's shape helps this. So, the suction is great but I still needed to know how much this little vacuum could handle without emptying and before it needs cleaning. The cup holds a lot of crumbs and dust, but can clog up the filter which sits over the cup. So regularly checking and quick cleaning this and the brush is important and nothing major, just takes a second. I be using this primarily in my kitchen and run it along baseboards in the hall. It's great for this, a quick pickup of fluff and dust motes visible on my dark hall floor. I even used it to suck up a fly and then tried it on a wayward spider which I released outside. It worked! Nice tool! Love this handy vacuum, being lightweight, small, a good quality, charged and handy for use anytime.
I bought my girlfriend the WV201 three years ago and it has been a great little vacuum. So when my third Dirt Devil quit sucking after the warranty expired, I decided to buy another Wandvac by Shark. I am not disappointed with the WV200. The only difference between the two is the flip down brush on the end of the crevice tool is not available on the WV200. This is the one time I actually want a product to suck and it does it well for a long time.
The 10N W1 Shark cord free hand held WV200 is great looking and slender. It is light and dark grey with a see through dirt cup. When opening the dirt cup you should hold the shark with the start and dirt cup release buttons faceing down. Otherwise everything goes flying. The Shark comes with a charging stand that needs plugged in at all times. The Shark needs to be in the charger when not in use. The Shark has very strong suction. The filters should be cleaned after every use.
Receiving this Shark ION W1 Cord-free handheld vacuum WV200 was the highpoint of my day. It is so lightweight and the suction is more than anticipated. I have an old machine, which is a different brand, that has been in the household for over ten years. The battery pack must be removed and placed in a charger as well as the vacuum being larger and heavier. The Shark is so lightweight and has two separate attachments which easily slip into place which make it so versatile. The quick and easy pivoting of the dirt container is a snap to use and the ergonomic design is pleasant. I planned on using the old, larger one for small jobs in the house and the new Shark in the garage for cleaning the vehicle interior. A clean vehicle is as pleasing as a clean house to me. This unit, with its attachments, can get in the seat crevices and flooring as well as the wide areas. The big garage shop vac is a chore to use since it is so heavy and hard to manipulate. The charger that the Shark sits in for storage is the nicest one imaginable. It is streamlined, lightweight, has a small footprint and firmly grips the vacuum with magnets while it charges it. I just cannot imagine ever using any other vacuum for vehicles and will probably grab it for use on the garage end of the house too.
I love this vacuum! I got in on the $88 sale when I was just about to buy it at Best Buy for $119. Still ended up spending close to the same since I’m paranoid and added a protection plan. So far so good! It has a charging station which is compact and doesn’t get in the way. The suction is powerful and cleaned my couch spotless. I can’t wait to use it in my car. It’s not obnoxiously loud either. I used it while my husband was on the phone for work and he said he barely heard it. I love this thing!
It’s nice but in the instructions it says what’s included so you think the little dust brush is supposed to be included but it’s not , then in little small print at the bottom it says “not accessories included check box for specific accessories, but still the wand extension accessory looks like it is missing something because it has 2 hinges like something is supposed to attach to it. This was the worst purchase I've ever made. The product was obviously heavily used and returned and was then just resent to me as a new product. I contacted Walmart and they offered to refund the heavily discounted price I got the product for and wanted me to reorder at full price. The worst part was how I was shipped someone else's dirt. So disgusting. Based on the fact that the delivery was 2 weeks late, the product was used and broken and the extremely poor customer experience I will no longer order from Walmart online. If I need to purchase something from Walmart online I'll get it from Amazon instead.
I received the Shark Ion Cord-Free Handheld Vacuum to be reviewed, i had so many expectations for this one. First, I loved the design, it is compact, looks awesome, is it light with only 1.4 pounds of weight, and the best part it is cordless! i charged this for a couple of hours, and i went to clean my car, i have to say it disappointed me. it seemed to be doing a good job when i started, it seems to have good suction power, after a few minutes i discover that the handle is not that great, even though it is lightweighted it kept slipping from my hand because the handle it is too smoot, they should put probably rubber around it or better design at the end to stop from slipping, this made everything so tiring and doubled the time, please try to fix this. the other thing I didn't like is that after 10-15 minutes the battery was dead, the handle got really hot because of the battery, this is something not acceptable either. so I was not able to finish cleaning my car, only half of it. i was really disappointed. after i went online and saw the price for this handheld vacuum I was EVEN MORE DISAPPOINTED, i believed there should be people behind the design of these, they didn't try it for real and saw that after a few minutes the handle was not good to be using it for long? about the battery charge I was thinking that probably got a defective one because if you are paying for this, 10-15 minutes is not enough for that price. The compartment to empty the trahs was easy but too small. Got filled really fast. Bottom line, i would NOT recommend this product. even if the battery on mine is defective, i would because of the handle, this is supposed to make our work easier and faster, not harder. *Disclosure Statement: I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample for review purposes. The opinions are completely my own based on my honest experience.
I am so angry with the seller of this product. It is completely garbage 🗑️ DO NOT BUY IT!!! I repeat: DO NOT BUY IT!!! 🤬 It says that the charge lasts 4 hours but it is a lie. It does not even last 5 minutes. It is not powerful, it barely picks up very soft dust and you have to do it quickly because in 5 minutes the device will be completely discharged 🤬🤬🤬 I want to return this stupid good-for-nothing product but unfortunately I tried it too late
No quality control. I purchased this vacuum since it was the closest available. Wait for pick up was delayed. Once I received it, the packaging was off. I decided to open it in the parking lot and it was used, dirty and filled with hair. None of the original packaging was in the box. very unhappy.
