This product is one of the better low-fat dressings out there. Had never used this particular brand before, but once I tried this when I was like, didn't want to switch back to what I used before. Would recommend purchase to others. Very tasty dressing would recommend to others looking for a lower calorie option.
uses seed oil, but they all do. Very flavorful for a low cal dressing. Like all Kens Dressings. Not creamy like something dairy based, but not thin and runny either. Good Italian flavor. I use as salad dressing, good with tomatoes and onions. Would also be good on shredded lettuce for sandwiches. It's low cal /low fat.
this is the best lite dressing I have ever tried! it has a great flavor, also you don't have to put a ton of dressing on your salad to get a taste of the product! I changed from another manufacture and their product because there was NO comparison!!! This product is reasonably priced and is just plain great!!!!
Best Italian dressing. It is a great balance of salty and flavor. Nothing stands out as overly dominant, and there is just a bit of acidity to make a good bite. The salty flavor, I assume from Romano, makes for a good balance to make the salad feel satisfying.
Italian salad dressing is my favorite, yet many are loaded with fat content and make salad anything other than healthy. Of all Italian dressings I have tried, this is one of my absolute favorites (and I love that it is equally wonderful as a marinade for any form of meat or seafood, even grilling and roasting vegetables!).
When I first looked at the bottle I was surprised to learn it can be used as a marinade as well as salad dressing. We can buy less expensive cuts of meat and marinate it and it s SO GOOD. Try it!
My absolute favorite!!! I eat. Salad every night because of this dressing. It's sooo good. Not like other Italian dressings which I don't really care for. Sometimes I put it on my crackers and cheese it's just so good on everything
Kens steakhouse lite northern Italian with basil @ romano is actually smoother tasting than newmans own brand. Overall this dressing isn't too sharp or bold and goes great dashed on spring salads or even into a baked potato.
My husband uses this Ken's dressing on his salads nearly every day. I haven't used this product as a marinade, so I can't attest to its performance in that regard. I like that that it's got only one gram of carbs per serving, and is relatively low in fat and calories. It has no sugar, so I'd assume it would suitable for diabetics and those on a keto diet. It's got a zippy flavor that surpasses most light salad dressings - especially Italian-style light dressings. The amount of sodium is pretty high, so I'd avoid if you're watching your salt intake. My complaints would be the following: 1) The oil used is in this dressing is a soybean/canola blend, and both soybean and canola are low-quality oils. Canola oil is even believed by some to have negative effects on memory and heart health, among other things. 2) The price is way too high for the amount in the container and the cheap oil blend inside it. As of March 2026, the regular price for a 16 ounce bottle near me is $3.80 to $4.10 or so. I try to buy it on sale, but even the sale price is never below $3.
Basic Italian dressing, not Ken's best flavor, but does the job. Their Raspberry Vinaigrette is amazing, though.
