I thought my Surface Pro 4 was history as the keyboard no longer worked. This Bluetooth keyboard saved me from having to buy a whole new Surface Pro. It works flawlessly and the keys have a great feel.

Keyboard for my Surface pro 5. I charged and connected bluetooth following the instructions very quickly. I love it so far and hope it stays as good as it is now.

No infrared like original remote

At first it was working fine, but in the fourth month the letters and numbers stopped working. I was very careful not to damage or drop the keyboard, since it is the one I use to use my Surface Pro. But for no reason at all it stopped working.

It turns off every time I close it and I have the press the tiniest button to turn it back in, twice. Once to allow the bluetooth to blink and then another time before to make the bluetooth stay on. It's always connected to my laptop, but I've still had to charge it, and the super short charging cord is ridiculous. Have to use my phone charger. The tablet keyboard still pops up for no reason, or I get a huge blank spot that size blocking the screen and it now just drops from full screen to 1/2 size when I move the pointer. As soon as I can afford it, I'll buy a Microsoft original replacement.

I bought the keyboard because of the price which is very good but the as clearly shows the keys are backlit its the second picture when swiping and the description for the unit says multicolor.

This keyboard does not work for a Surface Pro 7. It is missing the connectors.
