Lives up to the "kickass" slogan! Don't have a bean grinder so I used a blender to approx. Medi-yumm grind . I tried about 2 level tablespoons for 24 Oz of actual moderatly bold, quite aeromatic beverage. A surprise aftersweet.

Outstanding cup o joe !
I am a coffee drinker, believe me when I say I have tried alot of different brands. I have a few favorites, for an organic coffee, the price is amazing, 1/2 of the price, taste is smooth, smoky yet pleasant, beans were easy to grind, I use a moka type maker for a real cup of coffee. Consistent in every cup. I did not feel the jitters or stomach upset, I really like it! Strong, bold, quality, affordable, I do believe it is a keeper and after 1 cup you will know why! An honest review, from a little old lady on a budget who enjoy's a good cup of coffee! I can see me frothing some cream for a refreshing pick me up in the afternoon!!!

It does just what it title states! Kicks a....
Best coffee ever! It is smooth, has a rich flavor. It is the second coffee I have found in 40 years that is smooth enough that I can drink it black and enjoy it! Recommend.

Absolute worst coffee
I don't know what the people who gave this a good review were drinking but it says in the bag that one of the notes is smoky and that is all I got. I used it ground fine and made into espresso and it tastes like ash. Yuck.
