Kidde AA Battery Operated Basic Carbon Monoxide Alarm - 9CO5-LP3

I like buying from Walmart. The system works smoothly and I like the option of store pickup which is frequently available. In many cases I discovered the price to be better than other sources. I also love to have the option of not supporting Amazon.

Walmart is like having a whole bunch of delivery ANGEL's that help me to live without worrying my family and friends to go to the grocery store for me AS Walmart already has my personal problem taking care of for me… thank you so much for your continued help and support.

I DID WRITE THIS BEFORE USE. BECAUSE IT WAS JUST DELIVERED TODAY. I'M HAPPY WITH THIS BRAND AND WITH THE SUDDEN AND FUTURE WEATHER CHANGES. THESE WILL BE FLYING OFF THE SHELF. Our old carbon monoxide detector started chirping, indicating it was at the end of it's life. It didn't make it the ten years it was supposed to. We shopped around and found this one at a good price. Since we installed it over 2 weeks ago, it hasn't given us any personality, and that's how I like it. Win win .. price and we have a detector, much needed as we sleep in the basement - though do know, carbon monoxide doesn't sink, it can be on any level of your home. We have one on both floors again, now. Thanks Walmart, for the quick hookup.

This is very cost effective for a carbon monoxide alarm, not to mention the batteries are included. They use (2) AA Kidde batteries that are supposed to last 10 years. Most detectors use 9V so it's nice this one doesn't. We had this exact one for almost 10 years when it finally kicked the bucket and needed to be replaced. So we purchased this same one for replacement. The only drawback is it flashes a light periodically and at nighttime it can be a smidge annoying when you're trying to go to bed. But overall I would definitely recommend this for the price and quality!

This is a must have product, if you've got a funerance or some other form of gas related heating. such as using a generator in a snow storm etc. This item will keep you safe. Easy to use, comes with batteries and mountable to any surface or keep it near you. Great size and doesnt stick out like a sore thumb. Adds to safety and very dependable, this is my second purchase of this product. first one lasted over 5 years, it then told me it needed replaced. it actually has an alarm that tells you my shelf life has expired. How cool is that!

Only needed this in the event we have a power outage and I need to use back up heat so didn't want to spend a ton. Seems to function fine. Haven't had a 'real' test fortunately. Small and unobtrusive, not terribly expensive and Kidde is a known brand.

Easy to set up and hang on the wall. The alarm hasn't gone off, but is very loud when tested and goes off when CO is 70% or above. The instructions are clear about what to do when the alarm does go off - and states the unit will last 10-yrs. For the price and quality, I'm very happy with this purchase

It served its purpose in an emergency when I needed to know if a CO leak existed, yes or no. But the monitors that give digital measurements and memory of CO present are far superior and give better safety assurance in my judgment. A better monitor is well worth the investment.

I purchased this carbon monoxide detector and a kerosene heater. I tested the detector to see if it worked and it buzzed and the green light flashed as it was supposed to. I started the kerosene heater and tons of black smoke and carbon came out of it.(which we fixed the problem) The carbon monoxide detector was approximately 3 feet away from the kerosene heater and it did not go off but the smoke alarms sure did. I'm seriously thinking about taking it back to the store and getting something that will work better.
