Kidde Keysafe Push Button Combination with Permanent Key Lock Box

My husband and I ride our bikes every day, and we hate to bring our keys because there's nowhere to put them. This has made it so much easier; we have it in our backyard mounted behind a bush, and when we get home we just punch in the code and have the key. We also gave our neighbor the code, so if she ever needs to get into our house or is watching our animals, she's able to get in whenever she needs to. My husband has also locked himself out of the house twice, and this has been a lifesaver for him. It was really easy to mount, and is sturdy and made well. Super impressed and would recommend.

Pretty heavy, titanium, compact lock box for keys. The size is its best advantage in our view as it does not take up a giant space as some of the hanging lock boxes do. This is the variant that mounts on a wall and it comes with screws to do so. The push button pad is pretty straight forward and needs to have the combination set by owner (it does not come with pre-sent combination, which is very convenient as one can set any combination). One will only need a flat screw driver to set the combination. There are tend buttons on the pad and the only restriction to the combination is no repeat digits. We use the lock in the garage that has coded door opener; so for us it serves as a spare key holder. One could mount it anyplace though (outer wall, brick, concrete) and use it for any other key purposes. Looks, feels very strong and sturdy.

You can make up your own combination . I love it's push button. I use this for a spare key Incase anyone in my home lost their key. It's definitely convenient.

Use these often for places where you need a key for guests, contractors, etc. simple setup, got my own combination in no time. Screws go inside to keep it secure. Door comes off for this purpose. Good means of keeping keys or small key size items secure.

So impressed with this item. I expected the lock box to be some sort of hard plastic but it is a very heavy metal box, as think as my fireproof safe. The pushbuttons are deep enough that you can feel them in the dark if you need. The instructions are clear and in numerous languages. Your key is safe in this item. Perfect for the host of an airBnB or for a person trying to sell a house but couldn't meet the potential buyer. Also the box is large enough to hold numerous keys or something around 3/4" by 2".

The key lock box is very easy to set up and put in a hiding spot that you can nail into the side of the house or even just put to the side. My only issue is that it doesn't matter what order you push the numbers, as long as you have whatever numbers you have chosen pushed it will open, regardless of sequence.

I love the idea of having a locked alternative key holder. This is quality metal ) it's heavy and would be hard to break in to. It was a a little difficult to set the code and you need to reset and enter the code each time you open and each time you want to close it up. The password set seems to be a little archaic.

Sold construction, easy to install. But I wish the numbers [0-9] outside were of different color than the plate - hard to see in dim light. You have to remember the position of the digits. I am thinking of putting digit stickers next to each push button.

This is a terrible product. When you set your combination, regardless of how many numbers you use, the numbers can be pressed in any variation and it will unlock. Example: 4-6-5 is the combination. 6-4-5, 4-5-6, 5-4-6, etc, will all open the box. This is useless and stupid.
