KILZ 2® All-Purpose Interior/Exterior Water-Based Stainblocking Primer, Quart

KILZ 2 paint does the job. I used it to cover my sub floor covered with some kind tile from the 70s lol 2 coats dried 45 min apply the second coat It covered red paint spots on the floor with the second coat no problem!

The Kilz water based white primer has been an outstanding product for both home improvement and custom lure projects. It adhered extremely well to my walls and even held up great on exterior surfaces exposed to changing weather conditions. I originally bought it for covering areas with minor water damage, and the coverage and sealing ability exceeded my expectations. What really surprised me was how versatile it is for hobby use. After thinning slightly, it worked very well in my airbrush and sprayed smoothly with solid coverage. I also used it for dipping lures to seal 3D prints before painting, and it created a durable, even base coat that sanded nicely and helped the paint stick better. this is great stuff by recommend this to everyone that's doing painting you need on this to get a nice clean finish and this particular product is really good for under your paint it covers nicely it goes on smoothly definitely recommend it to anybody before painting

I needed something that would do an effective coverage of what needed to be done without emitting very poisonous fumes. This does a very effective job of a massive painting project without using a lot.

I had looked at this product in the morning and decided that I would see if it was available at the store since we wanted to use it that day. They didn't have it at the store, so I came home and ordered it online. It was disappointing to find that the price had gone up $5 from mid-morning to early afternoon!

I had a new roof and fascia board put on my house. But the fascia was unpainted and stood out. My daughter painted them and for a first coat, the paint works great. Looks a lot better too. I'm a 69 year old disabled veteran, but I teach at this point so that the daughter can handle her own.

ok, my review is mainly about the packing and deliry process. the gallon of paint arrived in 2 boxes and a plastic bag.one inside the other. the outer box looked fine. the inner box was inside a tied plastic bag. this was because the person that put the gallon of paint in the box did not use any metal clips or other device to keep the lid from opening. so the lid did come off and most of the paint came out of the can. what a mess. I've been buying sealers and lacquer online in cans for about 25 years for my furniture refinishing business. they always put the clips on the lid. never a spill. so, big fail there. I will never buy a paint or liquid product from Walmart online ever again because of this. walmart did refund my money fully once I figured out how to talk to an actual person. and I was able to save about a cup of the kilz paint. it does work good and I recommend the product. just don't buy online for delivery from Walmart. go pick it up.

I painted à dark blue wall with this, since it says it has “color blocking “, I was changing wall to a light color. But it didn’t block the color very well at all. . Still had to do two full coats of light color, and could have used a third coat as I could still see some shadowing. It looks ok, but not perfect yet.

I ordered kilts mold and mildew stain remover along with a 5 gallon bucket of primer.. I was out of town when I ordered it and requested it to be sent on December 2, 2025. My mold and mildew by kilts was delivered on December 2. I checked my account and it stated it was delayed. On a daily basis I checked. Approximately three days ago I was told that part of my order has been canceled. I did not cancel it… WALMART CANCELED IT! . I have yet to receive the product nor my monies that came out of my bank account when I originally ordered it, which would've been give or take a day or two Thanksgiving day. Do choose them not delivering my order. I will now be out another $60-$80 to purchase this product elsewhere! Walmart should take responsibility for accepting my order, deducting money from my bank account, and on a daily basis, saying is delayed until a few days ago, they canceled it. I've ordered from Walmart before and had not had a problem. Walmart owes me some type of compensation for me having to pay extra money on an item that I specifically ordered from them due to saving money! I had workers… I'm 100% disabled… Ready to work December 3 through December 5 ready to put the primer on the walls in the living room. I am out monies because when you hire a handyman to do this for you day, expect to get paid. Not only am I out monies from being able to get it at Walmart cheaper but now I'm out of monies because I had to come to a settlement agreement payment to three men to put primer not only in the living room, but over the wallpaper in the bathroom and and the kitchen. They expected to work and be paid and because Walmart did not deliver I still had to pay these three men out of pocket because that's how they make a living! Scheduling jobs to do, but my job could not get done because Walmart did not deliver the product! I expect Walmart to reimburse me for what I am out of pocket to pay these three men as they were expecting to work and make money to Put food on the table for their own families and make payments towards bills they owe!! If a price tag on a sale day is too good to be true it probably is however I had already contracted these three men to come in and do this work and I did not have my 5 gallon bucket of primer They needed in order to do the job. Walmart… You need to reimburse me the money I am out that I had to compromise and make payments to these three men whether they worked or not. I contracted them for three days and they expected to be paid in full for those three days when the job was done. I want the general manager to contact me ASAP as I am so infuriated right now because the money I saved by purchasing through you and not Amazon and giving my word I needed these three men on these three days to prime my walls, but we did compromise because they understood I'm on disability and even though they didn't work, they could've had work elsewhere. So do the math Walmart…

Opened it to use it and tried to use a stir stick it broke the stick. It was all liquid on the top and the bottom was a big hard chunk. Stuck my hand in to try and mix it together in hopes to use this on my walls. I was unable yo mix the product back together. Hopefully I can get ahold of the customer service to get a replacement or a refund. No luck as of yet. Use caution when ordering this product.
