KILZ Original Interior Oil-Based Multi-Surface Stain-Blocking Primer, 1 Quart

I have used it to resolve significant water stains as well as to seal off a subfloor saturated with dog urine before recarpeting after a tenant moved out. The quick dry component, and superior stain killing quality have made it a go to product.!

I was recommended to use the spray KILZ and that did the trick no more bleed through

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We started painting 150 year old plaster walls. We were not using cheap paint. The walls were just sucking up the paint. The third coat still looked like water color thrown at the wall. A helper finally suggested Kilz. We used it on the rest of the rooms and the ceiling. After one coat of Kilz, one coat of paint looked ALMOST professional!

Was so thrilled when I was putting it on the wall and the green wasn't blending through! Highly recommend!

I asked for help at the paint store and learned to make Kilz my first coat, especially in baths and kitchens. Yes, I will do the first bathroom over!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] KILZ ORIGINAL Aerosol Interior Primer was perfect for a project I had. Water had leaked from a flat roof on our house. It came into our bedroom ceiling which was ceiling tiles. The wet water discolored our white tiles. I read that spraying KILZ ORIGINAL Aerosol Interior Primer on them would help. HELP? After spraying it on, there was no trace of the discoloring left! I am very pleased with this product!

For stain blocking, quick drying, smooth sanding, kilz is probably your best bet. The premium price is rough but they do stand out
