I love this flour!! It's a game changer for a diabetic who is trying to lose weight. Plus trying to keep my glucose levels down.
Made keto bread for the first time with this flour. It taste very good but it was a bit spongy. I went on king Arthur's website and they recommend not to knead the dough too much or else it will come out spongy. I used my dough setting in my bread machine to do the work. They recommend to stop the machine after the first kneading. Going to try that next time. Otherwise it is a great product
I would love to have the option of a larger size with a better price structure. I've bought this before from Amazon. There and here run the same price. m A fantastic product to bake with and breading my chicken to fry. A keto product that does as it should is outstanding! So...I gripe about the price but I'll still be buying it LoL
This is a great alternative to baking with all-purpose flour for people limiting their carbs or for diabetics. I’ve made several loaves of bread and several batches of biscuits. They’ve been delicious, although admittedly not exactly the same as breads made with traditional flours. Expensive, but so nice to have biscuits and bread that work with my eating plan.
use this product in my keto diet to make waffles, pancakes and buscuits and its fabulous
great for diabetic type 2 baking
I love this flour. It's a great keto friendly option, and bread rastes amazing. we've made tge cinnamon rolls and dinner rolls recipes from their site, and they're phenomenal.
After my bread-loving husband being diagnosed with pre diabetes, I searched for a Zojirushi bread machine recipe that would satisfy his taste and have acceptable net carbs. I used the Rustic Bread recipe in the Zojirushi cookbook and subbed the King Arthur Keto Flour. It came out fine and totally acceptable, especially toasted. Today I made the “Tea” cake in the Zojirushi cookbook, but subbed Dutch Processed Cocoa Powder for the black tea, and increased the milk in the recipe by 3 Tbls. YUM! And not only is is lower carb, but the calorie count is very low too! This product is amazing!
Tried it out on our favorite coconut-sugar cookies. They baked up fine: not QUITE the same as regular flour -- and the mouthfeel was not the same. (*Slightly* grainier.) So the 1:1 substitution was accurate -- but it's not "flour." [But I didn't expect it to be. ] I don't know that I'll make regular use of it -- still have to try it for biscuits. But it behaved as advertised. And that's a major plus.
Flour was advertised as a case of 4 so I ordered 2 which would have given me 8 bags. The seller sent two bags which were definitely overpriced at 16.00 dollars per bag which is 6.00 per bag more than anywhere else. Walmart was great and tried to help but seller refused to honor the advertised price. Seller was apologetic for the confusion it caused me but there was NO confusion, the ad was the ad!
