Kingart Watercolor Pencils (24 Count)

These are really nice considering I've never bought watercolor pencils before. I was on vacation with my grandkids and wanted an art project and I figured these would work. I read another review that said about different ways. You can use them to get different effects. And they worked beautifully very smooth very easy to draw with. The choices were: 1. Wet the paper first, then draw. 2. Just dip the tip in water then draw 3. Draw with a dry pencil and then go in with a brush with water on it afterwards They each give a different effect. I might buy another set for myself to experiment with as I let my granddaughter take those after the trip.

Using these on calendar only seen for daily activity Colorful days low key planning wet or dry. In a scripture coloring book these work wonderfully or even coloring Bible. Beginner pencils to learn. ( Student prisma watercolor Professional faber Castell). use these with prismacolour sharpener for perfect points after every use. Pencil dip in water or put water by light brush on page to activate OR use dry.

This is a nice set of watercolor pencils. They go one smooth and don't break easily. I love that you can either wet the paper and then draw, wet the pencil or draw and then wet the paper. Wetting the pencil first gave the most vibrant color. The variety of colors is great. Excellent value for the price.

Perfect - multi use pencil. Kids LUV the paint concept in a pencil. Just give them a thimble of water for dipping No more is required. Beautiful artwork

I have been purchasing and testing Kingart products because they are a reasonable price point compared to other brands. They allow you to experiment with new media without spending too much on an art supply that you might not enjoy. I tested these pencils on Canson 300g cold press watercolor paper. The pencils preformed well. When activated with water they blended well and maintained their color intensity, though some shifted in tone a little from the color they were when dry.

These are great for beginners. They are easy to use and the colors are vibrant enough. They are harder than some other paint pencils I've used but that is great for those just starting out.

I got this product because sometimes the most expensive isn't always the best.And this is a good name brand. I don't have any complaints here but somehow a stink bug got in the mix.Seriously.I'm sure that the pencils are fine.

Demanding a replacement for water color pencil set. package not left at front door. could not see them in the grass. found them too late and couldn't get the package in side due to bad thunderstorm. Was headed out but lighting was tooo bad.
